Legacy Woods

Legacy Woods is nestled in a tree-filled residential area near downtown Hayden, Alabama. Hayden itself is located in the northern part of the state, a small community with a population of just over 1,000. This community offers a quaint, small-town environment, although its proximity and location equidistant between Birmingham and Huntsville allows for easy access to big-city amenities, including healthcare and services from the Social Security Administration or the VA.

Services from Legacy Woods include 24-hour staff to help with daily living needs, mobility and bathroom assistance. Welcoming common areas invite seniors to socialize, and organized activities are offered daily. Accommodations are either private one-bedroom apartments or semi-private rooms, and meals served three times per day are included. Transportation is provided for off-site devotional services, shopping trips and medical appointments.

The minimum age for residents at Legacy Woods is 55. Specialized services include incontinence care and diabetic care, with medication management and special diet meals available. Respite care, for caregivers who need help with temporary care for a loved one, and hospice care are also provided.
