Alabama is fortunate to be the home of one such center located within the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Sparks Research Center. The Alzheimer’s Disease Center at UAB conducts research on the prevention and cure of memory-related disorders while also providing comprehensive medical treatment to seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.
