My father-in-law is a resident of the independent living level of The Forum at Desert Harbor Peoria. They're very good and he's pretty happy there, he plays cards on the second level, he's going to the casinos on a bus trip, and he likes the transportation going to the stores, like Walgreens and things like that since he no longer drives. He's enjoying the meals in the dining rooml, and he says the food is delicious. The staff has been very attentive. Maintenance came and helped hang up pictures so everything has been very good. There was one person in the dining room that he had a little issue with in regard to seating, but someone else took care of it. Everybody has been great and the staff has been communicating with us. It's just that his room is a little far from where he had to go, but overall the place has a good feel and we got a good deal in terms of the price.

The Forum had a pool, spa with exercise classes, and art room. They had planned activities, plenty of entertainment with music, and a chaplain. The staff was excellent, did a good job, and very friendly. The food was excellent. We had a lovely apartment, with a gorgeous view, and a nice balcony.

The Forum at Desert Harbor was nice and I really liked that it's out in the country. It's quiet and the food is wonderful. We have several friends who went there and they absolutely love it. They said the food is wonderful.

We visited the Forum at Desert Harbor. We were very pleased with it, and it's the best we've seen so far. We liked the location by the lake there, and the apartment we looked at was a nice size. We saw a two-bedroom, two-bath with an extra room that was not closed off. The staff was very helpful. We went to their ice cream social last weekend.

The Forum at Desert Harbor was very nice. They showed us the apartments and then treated us to lunch in the dining room. My parents were very impressed. They liked it a lot, but it does cost more than where they're living now. The food was very good and the atmosphere seemed fine. The lady who showed us around gave us a list of activities. It was the best facility we saw. We only interacted with the marketing lady and she was fine.

My mother-in-law is at The Forum at Desert Harbor. The care has been good so far. It's very nice, very clean, and well maintained. They offer three meals a day and laundry services, and she has enjoyed a couple of the music socials.

The Forum at Desert Harbor was a really nice facility and the people were nice, but it was a little bit chaotic in the front area. The apartments were alsp pretty small. I stayed for lunch, and it was a little bit strange because you have to have a reservation even if you live there. It sounds a little bit too formal for my taste. Julie, the staff member who showed me around was very friendly and informative. Every bit of the place was beautiful and well-kept. The dining room was comfortable and the meal itself was very good. It was just strange because I couldn't finish my meal so I wanted it to go, but they were only allowed to give me one Styrofoam box to put everything in. They have quite a few activities. They gave me a packet and there was a whole page of activities and places to go for the month. It was interesting and there was a good variety of choices.

Everybody is friendly at The Forum at Desert Harbor. The facilities are clean, well organized, and well maintained. The atmosphere looks very friendly and open. My mom wants it because she saw so many people visiting with each other throughout the community. All the staff members are very friendly and very helpful.

The Forum at Desert Harbor was good and seemed to have the most activities and trips for independent living. They had a very nice restaurant that had better than average food. However, they seemed to be able to provide less care than some other places. They had very reasonable prices for care, but I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to provide enough care to meet my parents' needs. The staff was good and helpful. They got us to meet everybody we needed to meet. They were all very straightforward and honest about everything.

My dad is in The Forum at Desert Harbor. Everything is fine and the staff is very helpful and nice. The place is clean and very nice. They have a chair exercise program about four times a week, and every once in a while they have an ice cream social, or they have somebody come in and sing for them. My dad's room is very clean. They're starting to upgrade all the rooms, and his was one of the first they had done. It has granite countertops and cherry cabinets and it's very nice.

The Forum at Desert Harbor has some residents who were actively engaged, but one area is more assisted living and memory care, and the average age is around 80. We saw some peeling paint, so it wasn't kept up as well. The rooms were a little bit bigger in size, but not kept up as well. The price was comparable.

We didn’t care for the size of the rooms and meals at The Forum at Desert Harbor, but the overall facility was pretty decent. The staff was very good. We visited the pool area. The food was not as good as we had hoped.

The staff at The Forum at Desert Harbor seemed pleasant. The residents that I interacted with seemed happy, and the place was clean. However, I thought it was overpriced for what they offer, and the rooms were small.
