The Fountains at Lake Pleasant

We chose The Fountains for Mom, because the apartments were a lot bigger, it had outer hallways, and it felt like living in a condo complex rather than an institution. It's a much easier adjustment. They have swimming pools, salons, craft rooms, libraries, and movie rooms. They offer two meals a day, weekly housekeeping, and sheet changing. Your sheets and towels are returned to you every week. The food is spotty, but some days it's amazing, and some days it's disgusting. They're pet friendly.

My mother is in The Fountains at Lake Pleasant and she likes it. It has a lot of outdoor space. It's not like a hotel where you go through hallways. It has a lot of grass areas, and she has two dogs. It has a pool and they allow pets. They give you breakfast and dinner every day. Everyone's really friendly. They'll pick you up in the golf cart if you need to get to the main dining hall or wherever. All the activities happen in the main building. They have a chef and he's real friendly. He comes out and talks to you, and he's really good. They have a happy hour every Friday and they have entertainment. They take the residents to the grocery store and Wal-Mart, and every week they go on trips. The staff is super friendly. I had one meal there and it was really good. They renovated the apartments, but they should update them a little bit more. They are big compared to the other facilities I looked at. They renovated the clubhouse, which is beautiful, and they do a lot of activities.

My experience at The Fountains at Lake Pleasant has been very good. My room is very nice and there's enough to do. The amenities are good and the staff is very helpful. The food has been good and they have a private dining room. The apartments are a good size.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was a very nice and well-run community. We loved everything, including the apartments and the main eating area. The staff was wonderful and very informative. We saw a calendar of activities, the library, exercise room, dining area, and craft area.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant is the one I'll choose when Dad decides that he wants to go. They would allow him to bring his pets, and I was very impressed with the layout and the cleanliness. There were residents moving around and interacting. The theater, the library, and the beauty shop were busy. The residents were busy and having fun. It was a very relaxed and family-oriented home. The staff seemed to be really great. The apartments, recreational area, and amenities were clean and well laid out. Carolyn and Susan were both great.

My aunt fell in love with the apartment at The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. It was much larger than the other place we visited, and she could basically use all of her own furniture. She really liked it. The drawback there was it was a little ways to go to get to the cafeteria, but they come and get you in a golf cart, and if you don't feel like going to the dining room, they can bring you your food. The staff was very good.

We liked The Fountains at Lake Pleasant, but it was a little too far out. The decor was modern, but you won't be able to park right next to your apartment, and my brother didn't want to walk that far. The last person in the parking lot might have to walk a block. The amenities were very nice, but there was no laundry facility inside the apartment, and you had to go to the community center for it. The workout room was nice. The staff was very nice, too. The apartments were either one or two bedrooms. It was pretty far north from our family here in The Valley, and you'd have to really be able to drive to get around to restaurants and shopping.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was very nice, but the rooms were too small. They wouldn't take our furniture, and they were too expensive. The staff was very nice, and it had a very pleasant atmosphere.

I toured The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. It’s a beautiful place. The layout and the apartments are beautiful, however, they have to go out in the open to go to places, and sometimes that could be tough on the elders.

We like The Fountains at Lake Pleasant a lot. We like that the apartments face outdoors. However, the grounds outside were too uneven. My dad is a fall risk, so the uneven grounds were something we weren't comfortable with, but the place itself was very nice. We saw games, and we saw people in the library. The place was older too. They didn't have a pool but they have a theater, which was nice. They have a library and a hair salon.

We have chosen The Fountains at Lake Pleasant for their services and their price. The restaurant where they provide meals was lovely. They provided a sample lunch for us, and the food was great. The location for us was actually good as far as being close to where my daughters all live. Also, they're very good at working with us on pricing. They offered us some nice incentives. The rooms were nice. They're not super top-of-the-line, but they're clean, and very practical. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. The activities were very appealing and plentiful.

The apartment that I saw at The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was nice, small, and not as fancy as the other community I visited, but adequate. It would be comfortable for one person but too small for two people. Everyone was very friendly there. They had a very small gym, a pool, and different activities going on during the day.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant is OK. It's friendly, the room doesn't have enough windows, and there's pretty much to do. They'll take you any place if you ask ahead of time, and I like that. It's not really affordable. I'm in a shared room. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. However, it's not up to date in some ways.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant is generally pretty good. Things are a little slow because they have a lack of help right now. They clean the house once a week, and the management staff is generally good. They don't bother you a lot so that’s OK with me. They appointed someone to be the activities director, they bring residents to the casino, to Walmart, and so on. The food is generally decent, sometimes they overcook the fish, and it gets dry. The day shift cook is better than the night shift cook. What attracted me was actually the dining room. It's very nice and well laid out. The pool is OK, but nobody uses it. It'll be a great place once it gets warmer. They don't have a great workout room. It's not what I was looking for.

The people at The Fountains at Lake Pleasant were very accommodating and very friendly. The grounds were very nice and well kept. I come from a larger house, so for me all of these are kind of small. I would have to get rid of 95% of my things. They were clean and had lots of things there. They had music, cards, physical activities like yoga, and there's swimming if you want to. There were lots of activities, and the facility was pretty nice.

The Fountains had thousands of citrus trees outside, but I'm allergic to them. They have breakfast and washer and dryers in the club house. The rooms have a small kitchen, a stove, dishwasher, and a fridge. There was a Walmart not too far down the road and the staff was helpful.
