Centrally located less than 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles on a quiet, tree-lined street in the Huntington library area of Alhambra, Silverado The Huntington is a warm and inviting Alzheimer's care community housed in an elegant 1920's mansion. Our community is exclusively designed to provide quality care and services to seniors with Alzheimer's, Lewy-body, Parkinson's and other dementia-related conditions.

Comfortable surroundings and engagement activities designed with the needs of memory-impaired individuals in mind help ensure the goal of enriching the lives of both residents and their families.

At Silverado The Huntington, we understand that memory loss can be an isolating experience, which is why we encourage residents to bring along furry friends or play with one of our friendly housecats or dogs. Our seniors also delight in sharing a laugh with the children of our staff members, who often accompany their parents to work .

Meals are also an integral part of daily life at our community, as we understand the impact weight loss can have on the elderly. Our culinary staff prepare fresh, wholesome meals each day which are served in our community dining room. Family and friends are always welcome to join us for a complimentary meal.

Available Services

We take great care to ensure that the families of our residents are supported, offering monthly support group meetings and on-site social workers to help with life planning. We also make short-term respite care available to the public to give family caregivers a much-needed break.

On-site nursing care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at Silverado The Huntington. We employ licensed and registered nurses as well as board-certified physicians who visit regularly with our seniors and monitor their health closely.

We invite seniors to try out life at Silverado The Huntington for 60 days. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we will refund all your fees and help you find a new home.
