Description of Westchester Gardens
Westchester Gardens is located in a vibrant neighborhood of Bakersfield, close to an assortment of senior-friendly services and amenities, including banks, parks and restaurants. The Mercy Hospital is right across the road, and there are numerous other medical centers, laboratories and physician offices within the vicinity. The community offers assisted living with a team of 24-hour caregivers available to support seniors with daily living activities, medication administration and management, housekeeping, laundry and activity planning. Other care services include memory care and rehabilitation.
Residents can tag their pets along for companionship. Three chef-inspired meals are provided daily alongside nutritious snacks. Routine physician health assessments and scheduled recreational and social activities ensure residents stay healthy. Seniors can enjoy strolls on the facilities walking paths and trails in the company of peers or visiting friends and family. Other amenities include exercise equipment, a theater, games and entertainment rooms and special event parties.

Awesome! There are numerous words that could be used to describe the care and attention my in laws have received over the decade that they have resided here. They are currently in a state of transition, as their needs have increased, and each and every staff member has taken extra care to communicate with us and ensure the best care. We have worked with staff in the nursing facility, hair salon, administration and facilities and EVERYONE has done everything they can! I only hope I can receive this kind of love and attention when I am their age. My hats off to Westchester Gardens Assisted living.
