Brookdale Brea was very nice. The one in charge was very informative, nice, and made me feel very welcome. Everyone was very nice, and it was a very active community. Some rooms had balconies and were very nice. There were spaces for little refrigerators and microwaves, and a little counter. There were places to walk their puppies and one of the rooms they showed me even had a bed for the puppy. They did extra things to make people feel comfortable and happy.

Brookdale Brea looked beautiful, and the people were very nice. I met their chef and there were lots of choices for their meals. Chuck was very friendly, and he gave me a very nice tour where I met their residents and he showed me several different rooms. They have a little coffee area and an activities room.

Brookdale Brea was beautiful, updated, and clean. The rooms were very updated, nice and spacious and had walk-in closets and nice bathrooms.

We placed my father-in-law in Brookdale Brea (formerly Emeritus at Brea) in February. It has been a great experience starting with the whole process of being able to call someone who responded so quickly, gave me lots of good information, and were able to get things done in a relatively quick period of time. The staff was really friendly, it looked very clean, and the people were very engaged with the residents. They were just very caring all the way around.

Brookdale Brea was the favorite one we visited. They’re very helpful and introduced me to people that live there rather than just showed me a room. I saw one apartment that was nice and not overly luxurious, but it had what we wanted. The dining area was nice. They took the residents out on some excursions. At some other places, the only excursions they went on were to the pharmacy and to the doctor. At Brookdale, they did trips to museums or maybe to see a show. I saw some activities that my parents would actually like to do. I like the facilities. We were looking for a place where my dad could smoke; at Brookdale Brea, they said he could smoke on the balcony.

I visited Brookdale Brea for my mother-in-law. It was fantastic. They had a TV room, garden area with birds, and field trips for the residents. It seemed like all of the residents were very happy to be there.
