Description of Eskaton Cameron Park - CLOSED
With daily scheduled activities, around-the-clock caregivers and a relaxing setting, Eskaton Cameron Park is the ideal place to call home for seniors seeking supportive assistance. We are a close-knit community, where friends live just down the hall and family is invited to luncheons. Our location in the heart of Cameron Park means our residents are close to churches, the shopping at the Goldorado Shopping Center and the nature found at Hacienda Park.
Eskaton Cameron Park is one of several California communities owned by Eskaton. We are a nonprofit based in northern California and have over 45 years of experience caring for seniors and their families. Every day, we find inspiration in becoming part of our residents' extended family.
Featured Amenities
Each month, our full-time activity director ensures that our residents have diverse, fun activities to choose from, whether it is a lunch outing at a nearby restaurant, a scenic drive to Lake Natoma or a caramel corn social. Spiritual devotions are also held regularly, and for moments of quiet reflection, there is a relaxing courtyard.
At Eskaton Cameron Park we offer several studio floor plans, several of which have kitchenettes. The rooms are spacious so all your loved one's personal treasures can be brought to decorate the space. Small pets are also welcome, which further makes the apartment feel like home. For peace of mind, there is an emergency alert response system. All utilities are included except for telephone.
Available Services
Three meals a day are served in the elegant community dining room that features restaurant-style dining, and snacks are available anytime. Families are also welcome to join their loved one for a meal. Other conveniences we offer include an on-site barber/beauty salon and transportation for errands and appointments.
To provide the supportive assistance our residents need to remain active and independent, our community has around-the-clock caregivers. We also have two registered nurses and offer seven-day nursing services to residents. A personalized plan of care is developed for each resident in consultation with family and health care providers to ensure we deliver the appropriate level of care. We also make arrangements of medical appointments, which residents and families greatly appreciate.
When searching for a community that provides compassionate, supportive assistance and offers a family-like environment, families can turn to Eskaton Cameron Park.

Eskaton was very well kept and took really good care of my loved one. I was pleased with the place. The staff was right there when he needed help.

I didn’t like Eskaton Lodge. It had a much more skilled nursing feeling to it and wasn’t what we were looking for. We’re still looking for more of an independent feel that has the ability to transfer over. I was kind of surprised at the handicapped aspect of it since I watched a gal needing help in her wheelchair go up this incline into the hallway. Out in the front, they have an area for residents to sit out that was right in front of the driveway. This one didn’t get high marks for me, and I don’t mean that because they weren’t gracious, because they were. The residents seemed happy, but from an outsider’s viewpoint looking in, that would not be my choice. The facility was clean. They had a table of people sitting around playing bingo and another group sitting in an area with a big TV.

Eskaton Lodge Cameron Park was horrible. We went in there, and they were having a church service. The woman at the front desk was so unprofessional. She was taking us in the rooms and they hadn't even checked with some of the residents if it was OK if we walked in. She didn't offer a lot of information. I didn't like it at all. It was old and dirty looking to me.
