The Terraces of Chico is most definitely an amazing place for seniors to live. They have very caring and compassionate employees as well, and they have a beautiful system there where they go down and check on the senior if they don't go down for their meal. They don't do anything medical, but they look after their welfare in other ways. They actually even sent me flowers after my brother passed away. He was in the Lodge. They had a lot of activities, but they were limited by COVID. He got to socialize a little bit while he was there.

Sycamore Glen - Active Senior Community was a very beautiful facility. I went into the lobby around Christmas time; it was absolutely beautiful, and the people were very nice as well. The main area where the residents would sit and hang out, as well as the dining area were both very beautiful, and the place was spotless. The staff was very pleasant, they had really nice grounds all the way around, they had a courtyard in the center that was beautiful, and they had nice seating arrangements.

The Terraces of Chico was really pretty and in a nice area. They had a pond on the property. The girl we talked to was really busy and kept getting interrupted, so we didn't get a great tour there. They also didn't act like they knew we were coming, and after we left, they called us and said we missed the appointment, which was kind of odd. I didn't like that because we did have an appointment.

We liked Sycamore Glen, except that once you get to the point where you need more help, like if your memory is slipping and you need more physical help, you have to move someplace else. We loved it and it was very nice, I just don't like the fact that they don't offer more facility other than just independent. The person during the tour was very nice. The dining area was very nice.

Everything at Sycamore Glen was very nice, and the staff member that showed us around was very helpful. They showed us the menu and they have very good meals. The manager spoke to us as we were leaving and said that they will help us move from place to place. Everybody was very kind, however, it's just really pricey for me. The grounds were very nice, it's shaded, and they have a pond. The location was easy to get to.

I chose it for my mom, and she really likes it. She likes the staff, and they have wonderful people working for them. The building is beautiful, and I love the way it's laid out. It's laid out in a circle, and in the center is a garden. They have beautiful, polished wood railings along the sides, which the residents use a lot. The meals look good. They get little snacks in the afternoon, and it seems that the residents look forward to the meals. Her room is clean, and you can borrow furniture from the main house. Somebody comes, plays the piano, and sings old time songs. Interns from the universities come in and have activities with the seniors as part of their internship. The activities are varied as well. My concern is with the schedule of the laundry services.
