The city of Cypress was first known as “Waterville” because of the nearby artisan wells, then later as “Dairy City” thanks to its overwhelmingly high population of cows. The city’s current name is said to be chosen for a specific grove that may or may not have existed during Cypress’s history.
With or without the trees, Cypress is a well-located city which enjoys year-round warm weather. Warmly welcomed by a population of just under 50,000, future residents of assisted living in Cypress will be fortunate to settle down in an intimate and caring community close to all of the exciting attractions of Orange County.
