I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

It is a really nice facility. My mother-in-law has been in a few memory care facilities and this is by far the best one she's been in. The staff is really professional and they call me frequently with updates about my mother-in-law, and keep me informed with anything that happens or changes. I hear from the head nurse and the med techs whenever there's a change for anything at all. They're just so far above everybody else we've dealt with and I would highly recommend them. They have various activities every day like dancing, singing, and outings.

My dad moved to Brookdale Garden Grove on August 15th. It's been a rocky start, but I think it's exactly where he needs to be at this time. He's been having some issues with his items being lost or taken. For activities, I saw my dad go on their Alzheimer's walk, did some painting, and they sent me a video of him dancing with his walker. I think they keep him busy enough and do the best job they can. They don't always answer emails when I send them, but the nurse practitioner calls me right away if something happens, like he just fell and broke his finger. My dad says the food is good. The place is very nice.

My mom moved into Brookdale. They were extremely accommodating in meeting the requests that we had, and the director was absolutely fabulous. We've been very impressed with the care. I have eaten there, and each time was quite good. She has a one-bedroom that she really likes on the bottom floor with access to a dog run. She's very happy with the location.

Brookdale Valley View is very nice, with a very nice restaurant. The rooms are also nice. It's close to where we live, where my friend lives, and it's not expensive. My friend needs quite a bit of assistance, and she has to pay extra to have them make her bed, escort her everywhere she goes, change her diaper, and shower her. She's participating in all the activities like Bingo, games, and entertainment. The food is excellent and they have six choices for lunch and dinner. It's a very nice facility.

My mother has been at Brookdale for three years now. It's very nice and very clean, and they have a nice patio area. Everything is great, we don't have any complaints. Every time I went there, everything went smoothly. They've been very nice, very attentive, and they offer activities. The food seemed pretty good when we ate there. She had a good size room, with a bathroom, a good size closet, and a little area for her microwave or refrigerator, and a toaster. They keep it up pretty well, they do her laundry once a week, and the rooms have plenty space for one person.

Brookdale Valley View was clean, well run, and a good place. The food was pretty good, nutritious, well prepared, and you could eat as much as you wanted. The staff was helpful.

I Visited This Community

Valley View Gardens was very nice and welcoming. However, I could not afford it since the pricing was too high. I was impressed with it, but it was just too expensive. The staff was very good.
