I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My dad lived here for about three years. Overall, the staff is good, hardworking, well trained, and attentive, and the atmosphere a positive and clean one for the residents. I was a bit disappointed with some issues in the weeks before and just after my dad’s death, both related to the hospice company and Yorkshire, but that’s beside the point now.

I'm in The Camelot. They have very friendly staff, we have lots to do, they're taking good care of us right now, bringing our meals to our rooms every day. It's beautiful inside, it's kind of goofy looking outside, and it looks like a castle. They've got a pool table, exercise room, and I play chair volleyball where you can't get out of the chair.

I'm going to move into The Camelot. I liked it very much. It was very clean, very well laid out, and very well put together. The food was very good. They had quite a few activities and they're planning to have some more. We spent the night there because they had some rooms for us to stay in. They had a very small exercise room, a room to play bingo and poker in, and a pool. The staff was very friendly, considerate, very nice, and is willing to work with you.

Brookdale Sunwest was absolutely beautiful, but very quiet and very big. They had individual houses. I didn't see many people out roaming around; it seemed like a community for younger people. It's not a place I'd want to live. The dining area was very spacious and you can come and eat any time of the day, but they only offer two meals a day. They had a lot more activities than the other places, but they had people selling stuff in their lobby, which was a turnoff to me. When I visited they were having bible study for the older residents.

The Camelot is very informative, and they do have certain benefits in place which really made a good plus. Also, the environment was very nice, the ambience of the place is nice. But he didn't want to be in the middle of the desert as he said it, though to me it's a nice place. The staff members were above average, they're very courteous and they were very accommodating, and they did their job. I have no complaints. Its independent living, but they did have extra services in place, which I thought is excellent, so the residents didn't have to move out if their needs increase. They only showed us what was available or empty; they only seem to have a few vacancy because people fill them out fast. They have a studio, a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom, and they're all very nice. The only negative I could see personally, is that the environment seems a little rough and shabby because of the location.

The Camelot was very nice and very clean. We liked it, but they did not have an assisted living facility nor an Alzheimer's unit, just independent living. We've been invited back twice to attend events like the Thanksgiving dinner and their New Year's Eve party. They had all kinds of activities. The staff was very nice. They gave us a list of what they do there. They had an area that looks like a 1950s ice cream parlor where they had ice cream socials. They had dancing and bring entertainers in. They had little nooks or rooms if you just want to be by yourself or sit and visit with guests and had it set up so that you can have your family in for a meal.

Brookdale Sunwest was superior. It was organized very well. We went to see the villas, which are independent buildings away from the main building. Each house was like a little duplex. We looked at a 2-bedroom and we looked at a larger 2-bedroom. My mom really enjoyed it a lot. The homes were very well done. There was a very large patio out there for my mom's little dog. The garage had some upgrades. The home was freshly painted, freshly carpeted, and it was in a very good shape. We did see the dining area where they were eating their lunch. It was very nice, and the food looked very good. The building was very clean and organized. The working staff was very helpful and very kind. The residents seemed very happy and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Pacifica Senior Living Hemet was a nice facility, but it didn't fit my needs. I wanted some more personal care. It seemed not to be too friendly and the environment was kind of sterile. It seemed clean and they were in the middle of renovating it. The lady who gave us the tour was very good.

My mom has moved into Pacifica Senior Living Hemet. It is absolutely awesome. First of all, when you walk on the property, it's beautiful. There are trees and there's green grass. The community is very warm and welcoming. The main lobby is beautiful and very warm, like a home environment. The kitchen and the dining area are very clean and nice. Their food is delicious too. My mom eats every morsel of every meal. They have a lot of activities. They're wonderful people. Every single person that we have dealt with has been absolutely wonderful. We trust these people with my mom. They're caring and loving. I would recommend this place to anyone.
