My dad lived here for about three years. Overall, the staff is good, hardworking, well trained, and attentive, and the atmosphere a positive and clean one for the residents. I was a bit disappointed with some issues in the weeks before and just after my dad’s death, both related to the hospice company and Yorkshire, but that’s beside the point now.

I'm in The Camelot. They have very friendly staff, we have lots to do, they're taking good care of us right now, bringing our meals to our rooms every day. It's beautiful inside, it's kind of goofy looking outside, and it looks like a castle. They've got a pool table, exercise room, and I play chair volleyball where you can't get out of the chair.

I'm going to move into The Camelot. I liked it very much. It was very clean, very well laid out, and very well put together. The food was very good. They had quite a few activities and they're planning to have some more. We spent the night there because they had some rooms for us to stay in. They had a very small exercise room, a room to play bingo and poker in, and a pool. The staff was very friendly, considerate, very nice, and is willing to work with you.

Brookdale Sunwest was absolutely beautiful, but very quiet and very big. They had individual houses. I didn't see many people out roaming around; it seemed like a community for younger people. It's not a place I'd want to live. The dining area was very spacious and you can come and eat any time of the day, but they only offer two meals a day. They had a lot more activities than the other places, but they had people selling stuff in their lobby, which was a turnoff to me. When I visited they were having bible study for the older residents.

The Camelot is very informative, and they do have certain benefits in place which really made a good plus. Also, the environment was very nice, the ambience of the place is nice. But he didn't want to be in the middle of the desert as he said it, though to me it's a nice place. The staff members were above average, they're very courteous and they were very accommodating, and they did their job. I have no complaints. Its independent living, but they did have extra services in place, which I thought is excellent, so the residents didn't have to move out if their needs increase. They only showed us what was available or empty; they only seem to have a few vacancy because people fill them out fast. They have a studio, a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom, and they're all very nice. The only negative I could see personally, is that the environment seems a little rough and shabby because of the location.

The Camelot was very nice and very clean. We liked it, but they did not have an assisted living facility nor an Alzheimer's unit, just independent living. We've been invited back twice to attend events like the Thanksgiving dinner and their New Year's Eve party. They had all kinds of activities. The staff was very nice. They gave us a list of what they do there. They had an area that looks like a 1950s ice cream parlor where they had ice cream socials. They had dancing and bring entertainers in. They had little nooks or rooms if you just want to be by yourself or sit and visit with guests and had it set up so that you can have your family in for a meal.

Brookdale Sunwest was superior. It was organized very well. We went to see the villas, which are independent buildings away from the main building. Each house was like a little duplex. We looked at a 2-bedroom and we looked at a larger 2-bedroom. My mom really enjoyed it a lot. The homes were very well done. There was a very large patio out there for my mom's little dog. The garage had some upgrades. The home was freshly painted, freshly carpeted, and it was in a very good shape. We did see the dining area where they were eating their lunch. It was very nice, and the food looked very good. The building was very clean and organized. The working staff was very helpful and very kind. The residents seemed very happy and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Pacifica Senior Living Hemet was a nice facility, but it didn't fit my needs. I wanted some more personal care. It seemed not to be too friendly and the environment was kind of sterile. It seemed clean and they were in the middle of renovating it. The lady who gave us the tour was very good.

My mom has moved into Pacifica Senior Living Hemet. It is absolutely awesome. First of all, when you walk on the property, it's beautiful. There are trees and there's green grass. The community is very warm and welcoming. The main lobby is beautiful and very warm, like a home environment. The kitchen and the dining area are very clean and nice. Their food is delicious too. My mom eats every morsel of every meal. They have a lot of activities. They're wonderful people. Every single person that we have dealt with has been absolutely wonderful. We trust these people with my mom. They're caring and loving. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Nestled in beautiful San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, Hemet is a small city of about 80,000 residents. It started as a trading center for the various agricultural products of the valley. By the 1960s however, its temperate climate and ideal location attracted retirees to Hemet and large-scale residential and commercial development began. Although Hemet is still a popular retirement destination, an increasing number of younger people are moving into the area. They are no doubt drawn to the same advantages that residents of assisted living in Hemet already enjoy – beautiful scenery, a simple lifestyle and the proximity to large urban centers.
The country’s longest running outdoor play is also one of Hemet’s main cultural attractions. The annual Ramona Pageant is staged each spring at the Ramona Bowl amphitheater . It was first produced in 1923 and is based on a novel by Helen Hunt Jackson. The amphitheater also stages others productions for the rest of the year which residents of assisted living in Hemet will no doubt enjoy as well. They have a Shakespeare Festival, a dinner theater summer series and fall musicals. The Western Center Museum has several permanent exhibits which include a 10-foot tall mastodon, a 7-foot giant ground sloth, and several original and replica fossils of dinosaur bones. It has a unique total immersion theater where they show educational films and documentaries. Seniors residing in assisted living in Hemet enjoy ample opportunities for sightseeing and recreation in the area.
The Hemet Valley Medical Center is a 327-bed hospital that is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is one of the largest private employers in the valley. It is part of the Physicians for Healthy Hospitals Inc. network of healthcare centers. They have a comprehensive offering of inpatient and outpatient services and seasoned medical professionals who are committed to delivering the best patient care possible.
Hemet assisted living residents can also avail of medical services at the Menifee Valley Medical Center. A well-planned 84-bed hospital, it features an efficient building design with all private rooms and spectacular views of the valley. It offers a wide range of medical services including oncology care, joint replacement, orthopedic surgery, and cardiac care services among many others.

The Riverside County Office on Aging has been designated as an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC). It has a Hemet office on North State Street that supports and implements the various programs and services of ADRC. The center provides guidance and information on care coordination, legal assistance, help with transportation, nutrition, senior employment, and much more. The center also has qualified counselors who can help Hemet assisted living seniors and other older adults with any questions they may have regarding long-term care insurance, Medicare, and other health-related insurance matters. The Adult Services Division of the Riverside Department of Social Services provides a number of social service programs for its senior citizens, including Hemet residents. This division coordinates with dependable elderly care providers to give seniors in assisted living in Hemet every opportunity to live the life they choose.
