Moving to The Terraces was the best decision I could ever make for my dad with his Alzheimer's disease. The staff are kind, empathetic, caring, attentive, responsive, helpful, thoughtful, actively involved daily with the residence, supportive, and innovative in their approach to daily activities and living with memory care issues. Elizabeth is fantastic and runs the activities. She keeps them engaged & busy, and gets to know each residents likes and hobbies to incorporate things into her programs. It's a great comfort to the families knowing that they are with a staff who are experts in dealing with memory care issues. The doctor was going to increase my dad's medication because of behavioral issues at his prior memory care community. Once he moved to The Terraces, we realized it didn't need to be changed, he just needed to be more engaged and active. He's doing amazing and far better than when he got there.

Our mother required a very high level of care due to her very poor health and you and your team were so very attentive, and worked so very hard to ensure all of her needs were attended to! Our mother and we felt you were \"Family\" and she felt the mutual affection that you and the team had with her! There is no level of care that is more than Family commitment to a loved one and that was the level of care you provided. Because of you, JRBella home is so very special... We will never forget that evening towards the end that you came back to check on Mom, and as very weak as she was, she perked up when you whispered in her ear as you did so often.... When she blew you kisses we all began to cry at the mutual affection being shared.. Moms\' care needs were endless and you and the team worked round the clock to ensure they were met. And the positive feelings while working so tirelessly were truly felt by Mom. Mom repeatedly said, \"I am so lucky and appreciative to be at JRBELLA home and the staff is amazing!\" We highly recommend JRBella Home to everyone! Brookdale Central Whittier is an excellent facility; it's nice and clean. The staff was very nice, and what stood out is its cleanliness, because that's what I want for my mother. They have a lot of activities, and my mother would have enjoyed being there if she were to be there. They seem like they like the staff. They've probably been there awhile, and it seemed like that was home for them.

Brookdale Uptown Whittier facility is very clean, I like the staff, and I like the amenities. They have good exercise programs for seniors, just like the other place we toured. They take the residents on trips and outings, which I liked. They have the same type of programs for their affiliate community, which we also toured.
