1 Assisted Living Community in Marysville, California

My mother is now in Prestige at Marysville. I was part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for that community in the early 1990s when I was on the Marysville City Council. Today, it is every bit as beautiful as it was in the early 1990s. It's a beautiful community. The staff is amazing. The place is clean and well kept. The food is to die for. My mother moved into it in November, and she has not been this happy in 32 years. She is doing things that I never thought she could or would, like she plays bingo and does Wheel of Fortune on a computer when I can't even get her to operate a cellphone. She was in a parade and loved it at 89 years old. She loved living with me and was content, but she wasn't doing anything. It had been a horrible year for all of us because we gave up our family home, but she is truly flourishing and I contribute that to the staff at Prestige. They're all amazing, every one of them, from the general manager to the bus driver. It's also a lot less expensive than living in assisted living in Boston.
