I am a current client of this provider

Home Instead's caregivers have been fine. One did not match well with my mother but everyone else have been great so far. The caregiver we have now is wonderful. The price is astronomical but that is the price you pay these days. The communication with them is fantastic. They provide 24-hour care for my mom.

I visited this facility

I visited Deer Park, and it was wonderful but cost prohibitive. It’s not the monthly rate, it’s the deposit that they require that’s outrageous. The location, rooms, and staff were great. They have a sports room with ping pong, pool table, movie theater, a puzzle table, and all kinds of activities depending on the day of the week. They have Bingo, arts and crafts, and I think for a senior living it was excellent but expensive. The dining room itself was setup very nicely and looked very accommodating. Everybody seemed well-fed. The staff was polite, courteous, and answered all my questions. It was a really pleasurable experience.

I visited this facility

I went to Deer Park, I thought it was very nice, the staff was very friendly, and the people living there seemed to like it. My mom didn't like it because it was on a hillside, and she was worried that if she wanted to go for a walk, she couldn't because her legs weren't steady enough for that. Other than that, we thought it was a really nice place, and the food was good. The staff member who toured us was great and had good follow through. The staff in the waiting room was very nice.

I visited this facility

Deer Park was laid out very well. There were a lot of windows, so you don't feel boxed-in. However, it's too far from downtown, and it's a long walk. The staff was very helpful, invited me to lunch, and took the time to explain everything. The food was very good, well-prepared, well-presented, and healthy. I got the feeling that they're taking good care of the people there. The residents had a smile on their faces.

I visited this facility

Deer Park was a great place. They had very friendly staff and the place was very clean. It looked like the residents were very active. The place was light and airy and it didn't feel like an old person's home. The dining area had a beautiful view. The staff was lovely, helpful, everyone was smiling, and they knew the names of the residents.
