My grandparents will be moving to Brookdale Mirage Inn. It was fine when we visited. The staff was accommodating and everybody was fantastic. My grandparents opted for a big 2-bedroom, but they have various sizes. The residents were very friendly, very personable, and socialization was one of the big things that I was concerned with when it comes to my grandparents. They're much older, and they just wanted a large 2-bedroom, and that's what Brookdale had to offer. They were already Brookdale residents in another facility.

Brookdale Mirage Inn is a very nice place. I love that the residents can eat any time of the day. Margaret, the staff who assisted me initially, couldn't have been more helpful. The place has a movie theater, a man cave for the men to go and watch sports, activity room, and happy hour at 4. My relative is doing physical therapy three days a week. There's a free bus that takes them shopping. If my relative needs help in the middle of the night, there's a button in the bed and the bathroom. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They're always there. I've had breakfast a couple of times, and the food is great. Everything is done very nicely and always kept very clean.

Mission Hills at Rancho Mirage was very well rounded. They offered entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, but they had set hours for food. It was a very gracious and very well-maintained place. They gave us little cookies when we left. The place was very nice, newer, and more modern.

Our visit with Brookdale was very nice. The administrative staff was very accommodating. The staff members were very professional and very accommodating. I noticed some of them were sitting with some clients that can't be left alone, so that was good. They were interacting with them even though they were just sitting and watching TV. I thought the staff members were doing what they should be doing. They were personable. They did show us the menu and it looked very nice. I know they take great pride in their restaurant. They have a restaurant, 24-hour beverage services, activities, and outings. You can have your own bedroom or you can room with somebody. The place was nice. The facilities were very nice. However, it was too expensive.

Mission Hills at Rancho Mirage won't take the number of animals that we have. We have four little dogs that have been with us for 14 years and we're having problems finding places that will take us all. Mission Hills accepts animals, but it's just one dog or pet and we have too many for them. The tour was wonderful. The lady who showed me around was wonderful. It's a very lovely place. Everything was clean, everything was nice, and the people looked very happy. Everything looked very conducive to going in and being able to keep up with the exercises and being sociable. The room that they showed me was a 1-bedroom. There were some rooms that were empty. The staff was lovely.

My wife is in the memory care unit at Brookdale Mirage Inn. It's a fine place. There have been a couple glitches during the move-in process between the nurses there and her primary care doctor as far as what meds she's on, but I don't know where the difficulty was between the two offices. Regardless, the staff is fine and does a good job, and there seems to be an ample number of people working there. The facility location is very convenient for me and they seem to be in a nice area. They seem to do a good job in keeping up on the landscape. The building itself is very nice. The rooms in the memory unit are ample-sized and we were able to bring in our own furniture, so it gives them a feeling that they're not in a hotel somewhere. They have good food and the people think it's very good too. They also have a lot of activities, but I think the place is overpriced.

Mission Hills at Rancho Mirage is a lovely building. We have a studio apartment, but it is actually two rooms because it has a small kitchenette room with a sink and mini fridge in it. There is a large bathroom with a roll-in shower and then there's the studio room, which is big and has room for two beds, two recliners, a desk, a dresser, and a bookcase. This place has several areas where people meet. They have entertainment and happy hour every week, and they play Bingo everyday in one of these hubs. They have a swimming pool, a library, a media room, a craft room, and a beauty parlor. They have a van that takes you places. They will take you to the doctor and to shopping at various locations throughout the week. They have an activity director and an assistant activity director. They also do laundry for you. They have two dining rooms, but the food is not good. They have a strange combination of food. They put the food on a rotating schedule and you would get tired of the same thing time after time. The staff is very pleasant, but they only come if you press a button. They don't come in and make your bed. They do come in and give my husband his bath once a week. As far as dressing, they want to come in between 7:30 to 7:45 a.m, but they also want you to be in the dining room at about the same time when they serve the juice and coffee. Once they start serving the food, you don't get any drinks. The staff's pleasantness is fine, but their services are not good. We were led to believe something entirely different from what we encountered when we got here.
