Another big milestone for our family! Mom has moved into a delightful little care center in Joshua Tree. This is the same place that dad was in and we can\'t say enough about how amazing the care has been. Mom is happy, safe, and well cared for. Crystal Care Villa Elder Care is highly recommended!

My dad has moved into Brookdale North Euclid. He likes it there. They're friendly. He is very comfortable, he is able to move in all his things, and he is satisfied. I haven't had a chance to be there to really compare it to others, but since my dad is pretty comfortable, I don't have any complaints. I definitely would go ahead and give it the highest rating. I just don't have anything to compare it to. My dad loves the food. He hasn't mentioned any activities. I don't think he has been involved in any yet because he is still waiting for the quarantine period. They have a small courtyard outside where they do barbecue, and it is clean. The staff members are very friendly and very helpful. The facility seems very well maintained.

We went to Brookdale North Euclid. It's expensive for the individual services that my dad would need. The room was not so expensive, but the services he needs would take us way over $6000 a month. The appearance of the facility was OK, but it wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. The pricing was kind of high for getting him in and out of his chair to eat in the dining room, and that alone would be $1200 a month. I thought that was just way too expensive. The apartment was good and the size was good. The staff who accommodated us was very nice, friendly and very informative. They had a TV room, which was like a little theater. We weren't able to go around much because of COVID. Their location was very nice, but they need to upgrade the place, like clean or replace the carpets and paint the walls.

My wife is still in Reche Canyon Rehab & HCC. She's gonna require skilled nursing because she's got the trach in her throat to breathe, and right now she's on feeding tubes. It looks really nice. She's been there a couple of times before and they've got really professional, very friendly people, and they make sure she gets pretty good care there. I have no complaints at all. They have physical therapy there. I can't go in anymore because of COVID. I don't know if she's going through rehab right now. I don't think she can even get out of bed anymore. They have a real nice room with a big television in it, coffee machines for the residents or visitors, and beautiful fish tanks. I've only seen the food a couple of times before, but I haven't seen it now. The food looked OK before, and she's never had any complaints about it. Knowing my wife, if she was unhappy with it, she would say something, but she never has. The staff is very caring. They'll answer questions. They're really nice people there. I really like them over there. It's very clean.

I saw Valencia Commons. If they can guarantee the price that they gave me, then I would like to put my husband in there. I liked the rooms, and I think he'd be happy there. They had studios that had room for a bed, a chair, a TV, and a dresser, but they had a variety, and I saw two different ones. They had bingo, pool tables, and a sewing class. With Covid, you don't get to see everything. Everything was closed down, but it was very clean. They're cheaper than others. The staff was very helpful.

We're interested in Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough, there's very nice service there. Everybody's pleasant and nice, the place is very clean, so we're looking at that. I really would love to have my mother there because I see how pleasant everyone is and on top of things. The place is just pretty good and I think it's perfect for her. It would be a place that I would recommend. Several people I know have their mom there and they're all very happy with the facility and with the staff, so I know it's a good place. Because of the COVID, we just went into the office and they showed us the rooms, and the places where the activities take place. The rooms were very nice and they had a big lounge outside where they go and eat their meals, they have a laundry facility on each floor, and if they want a haircut or something like that they have a place there for them. I saw where they were dining and people were there. Right now with the COVID, it seems that it's a safe place for them to be and people look happy. The staff kept calling me, being constantly in contact with me and asking me what my mother's needs were. So for me that's excellent.

I like Brookdale Loma Linda. We had a physical tour. The room was spacious. My sister liked the walk-in closet. The people were very good. My sister had a lot of questions. The staff was very patient when answering the questions, and she did her best. They even sent free lunch to try prior to the visit and then even the head of the dietary department came with a muffin. It was very impressive. Some rooms were exceptionally very nice, but the room that we went to did not impress me with the cabinets, the coloring, and the carpet.
