Pacifica Senior Living Santa Barbara was very clean and very organized, and it had most of the amenities I was looking for. It was a very favorable review. They showed me the 1-bedroom. I'm not excited about sharing the bath, but I don't think the toilet facilities matter to them. I also think it's a community shower so to speak. I only met the managing director, so I don't know about the staff at all, but I noticed they were busy helping people, and that's the main thing.

I loved Villa Santa Barbara. The layout was perfect, and you can have a room that opens to a courtyard. It's a perfect place. The staff member was great and answered all my questions. They had a schedule, things for my brother to do, and we saw a lot of gentlemen who looked like they were guests. I'm happy with it, and its perfect for his needs.

My uncle lives in Vista del Monte, and I often visit him. It's strikingly beautiful and has been there 40 years. The landscaping is well established, well-maintained, and has great community involvement. They have top-rate quality meals. It's very large with a big, open space of lovely gardens and trees, and It seems to have plenty of staff to take care of the grounds. It costs an arm and a leg, but he's getting his nickel for it.
