I visited Kipling Meadows and it seemed to be very light, and bright, and a cheerful place. The people seemed very happy, and it just got a nice atmosphere about it. I only looked at the one-bedroom. It was a nice size, clean, and looked out on the courtyard. The living quarters were very nice. It was not too long ago that they updated, and they have done a beautiful job with that. They have an exercise room, a library, and areas where people meet to do crafts and things like that. I liked the place.

I went inside Brookdale Arvada. The apartments were nice, but they did not have craft rooms, or a library, or anything. The books are out in the hallway, they did not have a very big selection, and I probably got 400 books here in my library. The rooms were good, they had several different sizes that were available, but I just wasn't as comfortable. It seemed like they didn't have planned activities, and I like planned things to do like crafts at certain times, and where they talked about the books that people read, and things. It was very clean, and it was nice.

My husband and I are currently at Kipling Meadows. It's a very clean, very nice, and very friendly place. The staff seems pretty good. We have a two-bedroom apartment. They also have studio and one-bedroom apartments. They have a lot of activities going on. They have TV nights, happy hour on Fridays with a band that plays, and a bus that takes you to the grocery stores or wherever. It was the cleanest and had the most to offer of the places we visited.

Brookdale Meridian Arvada is great. If I was a little older, I would move there myself. No lawn work, and you don't have to cook. They have all kinds of bus tours. It looks great and it's relatively new. They do a great job with cleanliness and upkeeping. Everything's fine. My mother's room is nice. It's nicer than most hotels, with huge bedroom and huge closet. The staff is great. They have an on-site chef.

My dad moved to Brookdale Meridian Arvada. It's really well-run, well-maintained and there are a lot of good programs. My dad is really happy so its a really good move in there. The staff is fantastic and there isn't anybody that isn't super helpful, keeping an eye out for him and helping him get settled in. When we were touring, they were very informative and just made him feel very welcome. The dining area is very well-maintained. The chef is fantastic and my dad absolutely loves the food. My dad is going tai chi, meditation, went up to gamble in Central City today, went to painting class and veteran lunches, so he's just really getting ingrained with the community there. They have a good variety of activities.

Ralston Creek Neighborhood was beautiful, and I felt at home. It was friendly and pretty and had a lot of space for us. The staff was very cordial. I had a very good lunch there. The dining room looked very formal. We had homemade pie and a drink of our choice.

Springwood is pretty darn good. They have all kinds of different things and activities for the residents; I can't tell you how many. There's card games, bingo, exercise classes, they have a beauty shop where you can get pedicures and fingernail care. They have just about anything you could want. The food is good and the staff is wonderful. Some of the amenities cost extra. Like I require assisted showering, so somebody comes in and twice a week I get help with that. I get my hair done very nice, I attend some exercise classes, and it's good for me.

My loved one has been living at Brookdale Meridian Arvada. It's been great. The facility is fine and the staff has been great. Her apartment is nice. For a while, she was using the workout area. The food was fine. It's a bit costly and they keep having increases every year.

Our tour of Brookdale Arvada was excellent. They did not have any space at the time but a staff member, Dave, helped me find a place for Mom elsewhere, which I thought was excellent considering that it’s their competition. The staff was very helpful. The rooms and dining area were excellent. They had a spa. It’s a perfect place for someone with Alzheimer's like my mom.
