People at Delmar Rehab were nice. The residents and staff were fun. Rehab was good. Alicia and Adam were really good. I also liked Edward (staff). I did not like the food.

Julie, the night nurse at Delmar rehab was awesome. I was very pleased with rehab. I am so much better and stronger now than when I was admitted. Of course, I still have a lot of work to do. It did feel like family here.

This facility was the cleanest, nicest, most compassionate place we have ever been to. The care was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to rehab, or for long term care.

Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe is beautiful. Everybody's really friendly. They'll do anything for you. Everything's beautiful. However, they don't want you if you need a lot of care. They turned us down. When you apply there, they send someone to assess you. They have a sister facility in New Jersey, they sent somebody over and they assessed my parents and determined what their care level was and that's when they turned them down. They said they're not a good fit. They offer everything. The dining areas are beautiful, the rooms are beautiful and very clean, and the staff is very professional. Anybody would want to live there. In the memory care area, they were playing music and the staff was dancing and trying to get the residents either clapping or dancing and having fun.

To qualify for the DSHP as a senior citizen, applicants need to be at least 65 years old and earn a monthly income of $771 or less ($1,157 for those who are married). Other exemptions include personal belongings and a single vehicle. Those who don’t meet the requirements listed above may be able to work with a professional Medicaid planner to transfer a portion of their assets or income to their spouse to help them qualify for benefits.
