Description of Sunshine Assisted Living, Inc

Sunshine Assisted Living is a small, six-bed facility that specializes in one-on-one care. Family-owned and operated since 1999, it is located in a residential neighborhood of an upscale community in Coral Springs, Florida. Our residential concept helps our residents get the feel that they are living at home: not in an institution. We use the age-in-place concept which ensures continued residency. We can assist residents who could be semi-independent up until hospice care.

With 24-hour trained staff on the premises, our resident care is custom tailored to meet their needs as their level of care increases with the aging process. We can provide a higher level of care than most large traditional assisted living facilities. We work with the Statewide Long-Term Care Program (Previously Diversion) and are contracted with all the Managed Care Plans in Broward County, Florida.

Special Comment: Our Eclectic Décor and uncompromising luxury create a warm and cozy environment for six seniors who come together and bond with each other like a family. The home environment offers a comfort level in which the staff gets to know our residents on a one-on-one basis. Residents develop a trust level when they deal with the same staff most of the time.
