I like Shell Point. They've been in business since the 1950s and they've got all levels of living. They have also memory care and hospice on the property. They've got 700 acres and they have seven physicians in residence. You get much more for your money. Your entry fee is dependent on how many square footage your unit is. It covers every single thing except meals. The buildings are very good. They're building new ones, so they're not a stagnant community. Some of them have been there since 1950, but every two or three years they put another neighborhood. If you come in there as a new resident, they assign you a concierge for three or more months and that person orients you, finds people that have similar interests, and introduces you.

What I like most about Shell Point Retirement is the number of activities they have there. I'm a musician and they have a lot of musical activities and groups that I can take part in, they play Bridge, and things like that. They have an actual little garden that you can make your own. I was very happy with the way the staff accommodated me and their interest.
