I moved into the Atrium at Gainesville, and it's absolutely wonderful. I haven't met anybody who is not pleasant, and they're very affable. I have a studio apartment with a kitchen and a bath. They have different studios, on-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. They cook all the meals, and they gave us a calendar of activities. They have an exercise room, a beauty salon, a little general store, and a room with a pool table. It's a marvelous experience.

I chose the The Atrium at Gainesville because everyone is so friendly and I like the environment. The community is pet-friendly, they have a heated pool, and there are oodles of activities. So there's a lot of interesting things to do like chair zumba with just the arms, they do Wii bowling, live music during dinner sometimes, they have bell-ringing for the holidays coming up and we can learn. I moved in but have not slept there yet. The price is a little high so it's causing me a little problem. The activities fee is over $3,000, so that's another issue. I have been eating there, but I can't say the food is the best lately. During the tour it was specially good and we were in the formal dining room, but now it's like what they had left. They decorate well, they're friendly, they have a library, and a workout facility, but the food could be better.

The Atrium at Gainesville offers everything I'm interested in. The staff is very nice and everybody was very friendly. The grounds were very attractive and the location is okay and it's easy to get to. The 1-bedroom I saw was very attractive which is over 700 square feet which is excellent.

I liked the Atrium very much. It was in a location that I would accept, in the price range I wanted, and I enjoyed their meals. They were very pleasant, very caring, and it was a very nice facility. I got a full menu and a full list of their activities -- they could definitely keep me busy. The staff was very caring and very polite. They allow outside help to come in and they had a pharmacy on site.

Atrium at Gainesville was my favorite of all the ones I have seen so far. I liked the apartments. It's a slightly older building but very well maintained. The units were larger than a lot of the other units we've looked at in other facilities. It just has very nice apartments and I liked the fact that they had full kitchens and a dishwasher. The dining area was very nice and had restaurant-quality service. The food was very good and seasoned without being overly seasoned. The only thing I didn't like about the facility was that because I was traveling, I had my dog with me, and I asked if I could leave the dog in the little front entryway in his crate inside the second doorway where it would be cooler, and they aren't willing to accommodate me. Their solution was they'd take his crate and put it in a shade under a tree out in the parking lot so every time we would go around on the tour and I could see a window, I would rush to it to make sure the dog was still OK. That was the only downside.

My mom stayed at Atrium at Gainesville for 2 years. It was clean, nice, and the people were friendly. The lobby was nice, in good condition, and clean. My mom hated the food, and thought it was the worst thing. She enjoyed the concerts they had in the common area. They would also sometimes have speakers that were enjoyable, and some movie nights that she liked. It got too expensive and she didn't eat the food.

The Atrium at Gainesville was very pleasant and very clean. They offered quite a lot for someone that desires that sort of accommodation. I saw two or three of the rooms, and each one of them seemed to be very pleasant. They're all within one complex. They also provide three meals a day, which is more than adequate. They have a nice large swimming pool; however, I feel the physical apparatus for working out could be a little bit better. The staff member who helped me was very pleasant. The menu was adequate. Their food is not something that I would probably enjoy all the time, but then, I don't think I would eat their food all the time. I have looked at other places in the same company, and The Atrium, in my opinion, for what it is worth, seems to be one of the better ones.

Atrium at Gainesville was nice and had average-sized rooms and good food. The staff was very helpful and nice. There were a lot of sedentary activities, like playing bridge and watching TV. They have a swimming pool and patios around the facility. I would recommend it because the price was reasonable.

My dad's needs are met at The Atrium at Gainesville. Their rooms are very upscale. I ate there once. It was nice food, but it wasn't very seasoned. I think they do that for a reason though. Activities are very nice. Every single day of the week, they have wonderful activities. They have a room where residents can play cards, they have a pool room, and an activities room. They have a director that takes care of all the activities. Amenities are great too. They have a drugstore and a barbershop. They provide free snacks, free coffee, and free fruits everyday. They clean the rooms and they have a laundry facility.
