My tour at Brookdale Jensen Beach was quite pleasant as well as the person who gave the tour. The staff answered my questions, provided information, and was very open to any questions. The dining area was clean. The staff was taking care of the people there, and they were attentive. The residents were doing some sort of individual puzzles, reading, and crafts, but because of the pandemic, the people were separated and nothing was too close together. They had a beauty shop and appointments could be made.

We went to Brookdale Jensen Beach. The experience was really good. We had a really good lunch, and it was a very nice tour. The place is beautiful and renovated, and the location is amazing because it’s right on a hill across the river. I was very glad to be able to get the tour, but we were looking for independent living. The rooms were beautiful. We looked at the two-bedroom and one-bedroom that were adequate in size. They have a lot of activities within the building, like crafts, exercising, swimming, cards, as well as trips to stores and music. The staff was awesome, even when we were eating, and were very gracious in the cafeteria. People would walk by just to say hello and see how we were doing. They were all just very nice.

Brookdale Jensen Beach was very big and kind of overpowering. The looks were pretty much the same as other places. A studio was about 300 square feet and not more than 400 square feet. It didn’t have a kitchen but it was the same size as the ones with a kitchen. The place felt OK but it was very big. It was nice and out of the way. They had the long-term care in the same building even though it’s separate, so that made the building bigger. It seemed like there’s a lot of walking to get from point A to point B. They had a singing group, a bunch of people were out, and two ladies were singing old songs that the people knew. They were in a nice room at the end of the hallway sitting comfortably. It looked like everybody was having a good time. The staff that I met was very nice, maybe because they’re trying to sell the product.

Ida, the person who took us around Brookdale Jensen Beach, was wonderful. We loved it, and it's a wonderful facility. I'm going to keep it in mind for myself when I go. I love that they have a beautiful view of a river and a beautiful park right across the street for them to go walking. They had plenty of things to do and they'll take them anywhere they want to go. They'll also feed them anytime they want to eat.

Brookdale Jensen Beach needed some updating. The dining area was too confined. If you're unfamiliar with the place, it was difficult to get to. It wasn't inviting. The people working there were very good at what they do and very accommodating. There was somebody playing the piano in a not very spacious place. The location of the activity wasn't conducive to people who had a problem getting around. The entertainment was OK. We saw some people doing some arts and crafts. The food looked OK. It wasn't my type of place that I would put my loved one. It wasn't warm.

Brookdale Jensen Beach was a nice facility. They had some of the nicest apartments. They were very spacious and big. There's something going on all the time. I really liked that there wasn't an exact schedule and that you have to be there for breakfast or lunch. You can sit down in the dining room at two in the afternoon and still have lunch if you want. Everybody was very nice and helpful to anybody who had questions. They have a buddy the first two weeks that somebody's there and that one person can take them and be with them every day, introduce them to people, show them around, and show them how things work. I liked that new residents are not totally alone the first week or so that they're there.

The Cabana at Jensen Dunes was a very nice community. The rooms were spacious. The handicap accessible apartments were wonderful. They had pull cords everywhere and they had handicap showers and bathrooms. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's beautiful and everybody seemed very matter-of-fact. I knew the people who were living there from our own community that we live in. They were all very accommodating. I was impressed with all of them. They were doing a church service when I was there and there were people singing. They also do bingo.

The Cabana at Jensen Dunes is a wonderful, high end place. The staff is wonderful and very personal; they're like a family. I am very impressed. He has a studio. They have a pool and upstairs they have memory care. They also have a gathering room downstairs where they sing, which is like a bar. They have a really nice restaurant with very good food.

The Cabana at Jensen Dunes is wonderful. There are exercises available. We have three meals per day and they're all excellent. The staff is professional and friendly. They do weekly laundry, transportation to doctors' offices, and also shopping trips.
