Good Samaritan Village at Kissimmee was beautiful and well maintained. Their gym was like a professional gym. They had a heated indoor pool where they had aerobic classes. They also had a pickleball and shuffleboard. They had big huge grounds which was beautiful. They were just wonderful. It was lunch while we were there. The food was wonderful, selection was beautifuls, restaurant-style, which was very good. The lady that took us on tour and talked with us did a wonderful job. The people in the restaurant were very good, helpful and efficient. They had trips, and they had a bus that would take you to the grocery store. They also have assisted care if you want to go into that area.

My mother is at Good Samaritan. They have activities for her and we just left Bingo. Her room is spacious and clean. They have a library, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and three restaurants. They have good food, good restaurants, and good service.

Good Samaritan is at the top of my list right now, mainly because of the pricing. It's a very nice, well laid out place. It's a lot bigger than the other places with acres of land. After I visited, they had problems with flooding in the lower levels after the hurricane went through here. I saw their swimming area which was huge, and I also took a look at their food service during my tour.

Do not allow your loved one to live here!!! My parents lived there until Hurricane Irma hit and they lost their apt. A large portion of the property floods repeatedly during hurricanes, which is a KNOWN issue. The “Christians” who run this organization do not mention this information when they rent to these poor old souls. When Shingle Creek floods, the water treatment facility then floods, and raw sewerage backs up through toilets into residents homes. Next comes the contaminated flood waters. Finally the GSS information line voicemail fills up, Facebook responses contain no information, and residents are left to find shelter while mold grows on their belongings in their flooded homes. Repeated again during Hurricane Ian. AVOID!!!
