I visited the Lake House in Largo. It's very nice and very open. There's stuff going on, it's not gloomy, and they have a beautiful place overlooking the lake in the back. You could sit out there on the screened-in porch -- it's not even a porch, it looked like a room. There are activities going on, too. When I was there, they were getting ready to do something. There were probably twelve people there sitting around. They were serving them lemonade.

Royal Palms is a beautiful facility and very up to date. But it was kind of cold, the staff wasn't warm and friendly, and we only saw a few residents. I didn't see that many people, and I didn't see that many smiles like I saw at the other place I toured. The rooms would have had overlooked the huge parking lot; they didn't have a nice view. The building itself was beautiful. The library was very small, and they only had one library.

It was very good. The staff was great. They sat down with us, answered all our questions, and discussed the cost. It was a very informative tour. They showed us both one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, but we were more interested in the two-bedroom, two-bath, and they were nice. They have a lot of activities going on, too, which is very stimulating. They have three libraries, an area to walk outside, walking clubs, exercise clubs, and other activities regularly. When we were there, they were having a Mardi Gras party, but they were still socially distancing. My parents were able to try the food, too, and they said the food was very good.

My visit at Indian Oaks Assisted Living was very good. The place was clean, and the staff was very nice. I got a chance to talk to several of the people including the manager, and they were all very good. Their rooms are more like studios, the sizes are 1-2 people per room with their own bathroom. They also have activities and trips, and at the time I was there they were playing cards. I have also picked up a calendar of the activities that they have for that month. They have a screened-in area outside, they also have an exercise room and they do a limited amount of physical therapy there as well. They also have a common room where they eat and also do activities, play games and converse in.

The Barrington has two big buildings full of residents. They have a lot of facilities and a lot to offer. They have a driver that will take you anywhere in Pinellas County. The staff member who gave me the tour was very nice. They have a lot of facilities and plenty of activities to enjoy, they're always taking them out to movies and trips. If you can't keep occupied there, there's no way you'll ever be able to find a way because it's really active. Everywhere they take me like in the dining room or sitting room, there were people having coffee and enjoying themselves. The people there were very nice, and even the people that were living there were also very cordial.
