We welcome you to experience assisted living and memory care at Cinnamon Cove (formerly Mimi’s Assisted Living) in New Port Richey, Florida. Our community is located along Route 53 and just off of Interstate 80 so transportation to nearby medical centers or local outings is easy.

Each member of our staff passes a background check, undergoes TB testing, fingerprinting and a physical before they are hired. Every one of our staff is a Certified Medication Technician and undergoes substantial healthcare training including resident rights, first aid, CPR and more.

Featured Amenities

Our comfortable home has two decks and a broad, inviting front porch. Our common areas include a TV room, library and meeting rooms. Residents can choose between private and semi-private and furnished or unfurnished, with each unit coming complete with cable TV and Wi-Fi.

Cinnamon Cove provides three nutritious meals and two snacks daily, with menus designed by a licensed dietitian. Additionally, fresh bread is baked nearly every day and fruit and drinks are always available at the snack bar. We schedule activities on daily basis, taking in input from resident council meetings to ensure that resident interests are met. .

Available Services

Our basic plan includes numerous services such as basic utilities, weekly housekeeping, laundry and linen service. Furthermore, those recovering from injury or illness are offered complimentary room service for up to five days, as well as free personal laundry..

Cinnamon Cove offers plenty of safety and security as well, with awake-staff available 24 hours a day, accessible through an emergency intercom system. Our caregivers support residents with activities of daily living, including ambulation support, bathing, grooming assistance, medication management and more.

  • Special Comment: Every staff member is trained in CPR, First Aid, Infectious Disease control, Blood borne pathogens, Alzheimer's disease, Resident's rights, Safe food handling, DNR, Fall risk, Nutrition & hydration, Emergency procedures and Elopement procedures. Since medication management is the number one reason people need assisted living, EVERY staff member is a Certified Medication Technician. Both owners are Certified Administrators, certified by the State. We honor DNR (Do not resuscitate) orders but have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) which the staff is trained on. It is comforting to know that if an emergency arises, help is only minutes away. Response time for a 911 call is typically under 5 minutes.
