Great service, dependable, and they were wonderful. My husband who was the patient passed away on April 17th and it was the nurse, Anne, from Home Instead in Florida that came into the house on Good Friday and recognized that he was in real trouble. It wasn't COVID, it was Parkinson's. She's the one that helped me get him into the emergency room. Then from there, we went to hospice. Anne was wonderful in terms of just supporting and being there for me. His caregiver, Veron, and I would bathe him and change him, and without her help I couldn't have done it. They were just wonderful with Parkinson's patients. They were so good. They made my life a lot easier and they made my husband happier.

Atria Port St. Lucie was very nice, and the people were lovely. The lady who took us around was wonderful with my mother, treated her with care and dignity and made her feel good. I really liked it. If it wasn't for the distance, my mother would've been very comfortable there and I would have been perfectly happy. I was impressed by the cleanliness and the odor of the place. The dining room looked very nice. It was sit-down dining with a menu.

We chose Atria Port St. Lucie for my mother because of the price. They were having a promotion and the price was a thousand dollars less than all of the others. She has a nice, small (about 370 square feet) room with a large bathroom. It's on the first floor which made it easier for her even though there are elevators. It's located out of the way; even though it's on Route 1, it's in a private area with nothing else there surrounded by woods. They provide cleaning, free meals, and have staff on-duty for 24 hours. They have the usual activities like bingo, singing, library, and church services. The food is pretty good. They do a nice job, and I havent heard any complaints. In terms of activities, its a pretty full day; they have arts and crafts, movies and a lot of little things. They go out sometimes to a restaurant or go shopping if they can.

Harbor Place at Port St. Lucie was very nice and had a lot of amenities, a pool, and a separate building for long-term care that was connected to another building for residency and not assisted. I like that everything was in one spot. The price was a lot but like most of the others. The dining room looked nice and people were happy, its restaurant food although all of them have the same meal. They give you fish, chicken, a little beef, soup, and vegetables. Youre not going to a specialty restaurant. The staff members that I met were all very nice; I didnt see anybody that wasnt. Nothing struck me as out-of-the-ordinary; everything was nice. The woman who was showing the place was also very nice. Its a big place with three floors, so there were more residents. They had the same style of activities as others, like arts and crafts, church, shopping and trips, and had medical staff. They had something every day.

Atria was really nice, the room was really nice, and the staff seemed friendly. They gave me some pastries to bring home, and my husband said they were really good. They offer food 24 hours a day, and I liked that. They also have a garden.
