My dad just arrived and I cannot express how grateful I am to have been put in contact with Pedro. The situation we found ourselves in contained multiple obstacles placed by those we trusted to help. We felt helpless and close to hopeless. Pedro and his team took control and help us more in 1 week than anyone has in 6 months! We are grateful and cannot Thank Pedro enough for his kindness, compassion and most importantly, for keeping his word!

My father-in-law is in here. There have been a lot of issues with him during the transition, but it is typical. It takes time. The people there are great with communication though from what i can tell. I like the facility, but he hates everything and that is typical because he has only been there 2 weeks. The staff was fantastic, and he is in a studio apartment there. As for the activities, I know that they had some kind of an Easter thing last Friday. Everything looks clean and nice. It did not have any bad odor like you usually get in nursing homes. The people are great from what I can tell. They have a hair salon, a theater room, and a library. They also have a bird sanctuary on the ground and a chapel. They have several different areas set up and places for residents to do things.

It is a nice facility. It's a good placement. I think the staff is very friendly and cooperative, so in that regard, it's good. Her room fits her needs. I think it's spacious enough for her. The administrative staff and nursing team is doing an excellent job.

I love Addington Place at College Harbor. The whole place was great. The staff during the tour was excellent. It would be my choice at this point if something develops with my mother. It's a beautiful place. It's on the water, and there are water views. They had a dining room and a library. The activity schedule was very well organized. If you don't like anything on the menu, they always offer some lighter alternatives. The food looked good. It's like you're in a luxury cruise ship. I like the quietness of the facility. The grounds, the tranquillity, and the views were a plus.

Addington Place at College Harbor is very impressive and clean. The people are very friendly, and their idea of having an ambassador when a new person comes is an excellent way to get people integrated into what goes on. Everybody was helpful, and we were very impressed. We think the food was very good, we have no complaints, you can get your hair done, there's a doctor on call, and they take trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, and the bank. Periodically they go out to lunch. Inside there's activity by the pool, and I know there's always a big list of things to do.

My father had done well at Brentwood at St. Pete, but he had issues with getting his pills at the times he wanted them. There's no 24/7 in-house nursing there. The executive staff and the sales staff were fantastic, but very shorthanded. They need to improve their staffing and the food service area and they need more nursing staff. My father enjoyed the food there. It's more like a nursing home versus assisted living, and their activities deal more with people with mobility issues.

Brentwood at St. Pete was very nice and bigger than others I've seen, and comparatively more spacious. Some rooms had patios. It seemed like the place was very active. The staff seemed very knowledgeable, open, and friendly. The place was very clean and pleasant. It had a nice, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere.

My husband was at Addington Place at College Harbor and it's not much good. They charged us about $4,000, including the $1,500 moving fee for one week and they didn't pursue a refund or anything. They've got aides that are dispensing medication and they should not be doing that since it's illegal in the state of Florida. I don't have a lot of good things to say about them. They're not equipped to take care of elderly people because they don't have licensed people to dispense medication. One night the LPN who is able to give my husband his morphine kept the morphine at her desk and never took it to the floor, so if he had needed his morphine in the middle of the night, he would not have had it and I told her that. It just was not a good place.

It is a smaller place and I thought it would be better for my husband because he is going to require closer care there. It was very nice. The staff showed me around and he was very accommodating and answered all my questions. The tour was very nice. It's a smaller scale, so the dining room was smaller. The rooms were nice and remodeled. It had a little kitchen area with a table, a bedroom, and a lounge chair. They had a little bus bringing some people back from a shopping tour. Everything was very clean, neat, and organized.
