It was nice, but it wasn't going to work for my mother. It was clean and neat, but my mother wouldn't be happy there. It had an older look, but I think the actual dining area and the rooms were good. The staff, Penny, did a wonderful job showing us around. She showed us the crafts room, the library, the activities room, and the room. The staff was very good.

I did not think much of it. The lady in charge was awfully nice and very friendly, but as soon as you walk in, you can smell food, which immediately put me off. There were people sitting with walkers and on wheelchairs. It's slightly rundown. It's comfortable for others, but not for me. The people I talked to were very nice. It's also more expensive than others probably because they're not independent.

Everything was very nice at Village on the Isle, but we weren't interested in putting down a lifetime deposit like they require. The apartments were very nice and spacious. The food was excellent. They have someone come in and clean your apartment once a week. The dining area was very spacious, and the food was excellent. They had waitresses to wait on you and it was one of the best ones as far as the food. The people were nice. They had both indoor and outdoor activities. It's very clean and spotless.

It was nice, but the room was smaller than other places. The staff was nice, and there were people sitting at the tables. Each pod had their own dining table, and they're able to sit at one big table, or two people to a table. It was a quick tour. There was no pool, and each pod had a little library of their own with donated books.

My mother moved into Sunset Lake Village and so far it's OK. The people that work there are great. It's just a nice environment, it's clean, and it's friendly. They have a lot of stuff to keep the residents active. They take them out on walks, the play bingo, and all that stuff. They serve three meals a day and the staff is good. They assist you with anything. As long as it's in the paperwork they'll give you anything you want.

We liked The Windsor of Venice. They followed up with questions in regard to anything else they could do for us. My sister will need nursing care in the near future, but they don't have that round-the-clock. They don't have an RN or an LPN that can help manage her problems after 5:00 p.m. They had fine dining, transportation to doctors' appointments, field trips, a lot of unusual entertainment, and parties.

My uncle is in the Windsor of Venice. It seems fine, and the staff seem very friendly and attentive to his needs. I had one meal that was fine, nothing spectacular. The dining area seems clean enough. They have a library.

We found the Windsor of Venice for mom. It's a good, mid-size facility with friendly staff, and excellent facilities. It's in a quiet, more residential area, and it's easy to access. She's in a good-size, 1-bedroom. It's not too small, and adequate for one person. She participates in Bingo, and she's going on a field trip next week. She's been pretty busy.

Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe was very nice and seemed very clean. They were very friendly. They had a swimming pool and an activity room.
