My friends are in Dunwoody Health and Rehabilitation Center. The staff is pleasant, the building is well maintained, and the second floor to the rooms are nice. The rooms were normal size, both have shared rooms, and they seemed to be well cared for. They have activities and exercise or therapy areas.

We ended up moving our mother into Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody, which is a Sunrise community. So far it's been good, and she's enjoying it. They're meeting her needs and the price is affordable, so it seems to be a good match. Her room there is small, but we kind of knew that going into it. They have activities like bingo, reading, movies, and they have outings that I have been told about. Their dining area is nice. It looked good. They have a small courtyard which is nice, the overall layout seems fine, and the people are all very pleasant, which is the biggest factor. The staff has been good. She's enjoying the food there, although I haven't experienced it firsthand.

It was fantastic. I really liked the facilities altogether. The person who took care of me was great. Everything was new, fresh, and clean. They had a pretty full social calendar. The residents seemed very connected to each other and socialize with one another.

We found Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody to be homey-looking. The one-bedroom apartments are pretty spacious, and so far we've been pretty happy with the care my mother-in-law is getting there. She doesn't want to participate in the activities, but the activities director always encourages her to join. They have a walking group in the mornings and afternoons and exercise programs where most of the clients use a chair to do exercises. They also have sing-alongs, ice cream socials, card club, bridge club, and some other type of games like puzzles. They also take the residents out to eat once a week at different restaurants right around the area, and go on little outings to some of the art galleries or shopping at Walmart. There's also a nice library with a lot of books, and they play games to keep the mind active. Everybody I've met there was friendly and helpful.

I was very impressed because it's a fairly new facility. It was very clean, very modern, and the people were very nice. I was just disappointed because all they have are apartments with one bedroom, and all the ones I looked at were small, but they've got enough room that you could certainly do OK there. The staff was great and invited us over for lunch. The location was perfect for us. I was just impressed with everything about it, the way it looked, and the people I met there.
