It was a nice place with big apartments. The residents looked happy and friendly, and the food was good.

When I walked in everybody was very friendly. It was all wide open spaces, so that everybody could see everybody. There were no hidden corners. I liked the idea that it was open and you could see out the back. The back had these beautiful windows that overlooked the lake. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. The person that I spoke with was really good. Tanya answered every single question I had right way. I loved the way they had their lunch and supper menus on a chalkboard all laid out right there so everybody knows what they're getting. If it's something that they don’t like, they’ll just have to let them know ahead of time, and they’ll fix them something else. The place looked very clean and sanitary, and the windows were all washed. The seats and the tables were all clean with tablecloths on them.

My mom lived here, and it's a really nice facility. The caregivers are really good and took care of my mom. She had a nice room that's fairly large. It had room for her bed and quite a bit of her furniture. It was well taken care of and in good shape. My mom would go to lunch and supper and she'd eat with the other people, and if she wasn't feeling good, they would bring her meals in her room. The food looked really good and my mom said it tasted good. They'd take the residents on outings and to the mall. The pricing was very reasonable for what my mom got.

It had a lodge feel and looked like a ski lodge. It's a small, nice, homey community with 41 people. The staff was very friendly. We observed the people, and they had options with their food. There were tablecloths on the table. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. The rooms were small. They had a lot of activities in the calendar with basic things like exercise, Bible study, jewelry classes, and something to do almost every hour.

It was great, and the price was pretty competitive. The staff didn't seem attentive. The personnel was kind of in a hurry and didn't take the time with us very long. The rooms were pretty good and apartment-like. I've also seen the dining area. The building is newer.
