Village Park at Spalding is a beautiful community with a lot of activities. My husband even said he was ready to move in because they had villas, condos and upscale restaurants, and so on. But with that comes double the price of the place where my mother-in-law is now. There's so much going on that we're worried that it might be overwhelming for her. For an independent living or slightly assisted living place, it's absolutely fabulous, but it's definitely not for someone with memory issues. It's fairly new and top notch, and the apartments were a little bit larger than the others we went to. They had a swimming pool and a lot of amenities. For what you get, the price is comparable to the other newer senior places.

I was "WOW'ed" upon walking in the front door. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the residents seemed happy, and I felt very comfortable there. I would highly recommend this community for your loved one!

Really appreciate all the staff has done to care for my mom. She has been there since they first opened and is so happy there. She loves the other residents and the staff.

We love to be here. Food was a concern for about a month, but is great now. Care is superb and the building is beautiful! Love the staff!

This place appears to have a lot going for it, but a lack of solid general management, overburdened caregivers and high rate of staff turnover make it fall short of the professional standard that you want for your loved one. Leadership issues that existed when it first opened have not been resolved two years later!
