A restored historic home in Tiger Georgia is Cannon Wood Village. It is an assisted living community with a non-institutional ambience. Here residents are encourage to be independent as they can. Our lovely cottage style interiors provides warmth and home like atmosphere that residents love.

Cannon Wood is a full service retirement village and we offer Independent and Personal Care apartments. The Village is located near Clayton, Georgia in the North East Georgia mountains just an hour and a half North of Atlanta.

Our community provides amenities that are enriching to our residents. Residents can relax and rejuvenate on our beauty shop where they could get a haircut or permed. We have a rustic village garden with walk path where residents can exercise and stretch their muscles as they chat with their friends. We have a butterfly garden where residents could also plant vegetables or flowering plants. Residents eat together while they share a good laugh on our elegant dining area.

We have different floor plans you could choose from. We have studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. It comes with its own bathroom, kitchen, walk in closet, and living room. All apartments are spacious and provide residents the privacy and independence that they deserve.

Available services

We served delicious meals three times a day plus snacks. To ensure our residents keep their good health we ensure the food they eat are fresh and nutritious. Residents can participate on our scheduled activities like exercise, tea parties, prayer group, bingo and karaoke. We also have transportation services that could take you anywhere Rabun County.

Our competent and compassionate staff are awake and available 24 hours a day. To ensure we could respond immediately when residents need our help we have installed emergency pull cord on each apartments. Residents no longer worry about keeping their home clean. We will take care of the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance.
