With the charming, small-town atmosphere, plentiful activities and access to cultural attractions such as the Tarble Arts Center, there is so much here to help residents make the most of the golden years.

Whether you wish to live in a shared unit or a private studio, one- or two-bedroom apartment, you will have options and choices. The same comes for our dining program, which features fresh, home-cooked meals prepared by our skilled executive chef. Our fine dining program uses seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Our life enrichment programs encourage residents to grow, connect, move and create. For example, the Senior Sidekicks program engages residents with local students who infuse our community with energy. You will also find residents partaking in activities as varied as cooking, singing, fitness programs or Wii Sports.

Brookstone Estates of Charleston offers a unique memory care neighborhood which opened in 2011 and was designed with the specific needs of those suffering from Alzheimer's and related dementias. Memory care specialists work directly with staff, residents and families to create a comprehensive care plan, providing the attention your loved one deserves.

No matter the time of day, care is available when you need it. A licensed nursing staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the needs of our memory care residents. We will work with you and your physician to develop an individual service plan, assisting with tasks such as medication reminders, dietary plans, bathing assistance and other support as needed.
