Memory Care Community in Glen Ellyn, Illinois

We went to Brookdale Glen Ellyn. They showed me large and small apartments to choose from, and they were very nice. They have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. You can use your card and the machine responds to your particular program, which is impressive. The staff was very outgoing and pleasant. It's near a park, which is great. It's a pretty good facility.

I love Brookdale Glen Ellyn. It was wonderful. However, my mother-in-law is in Connecticut and she didn't want to move. Everything seemed very nice, and it would have been just fine if she was willing to do it. It was one of the best ones that I have seen. I thought it was a great fit for her. We love the tour. It was excellent. The woman who gave us the tour was great. The rooms were clean and nice. They were going through some renovations, so that was even nicer. In that regard, it showed beautifully. It didn't smell, which was very nice. We talked to some of the girls that were already there, and they were obviously happy. The dining room was nice. I think they had great activities. The library was great. The piano and the garden were nice.

Brookdale Glen Ellyn is beautiful and very clean with wonderful facilities. They have a whirlpool, a library, games, bingo, and a bus that takes you to different places, including shopping and doctors. The staff is very friendly, cordial, and welcoming. They serve breakfast every day, but only 25 dinners a year. Another downside is that there are long distances to walk from the units to the elevators and from the elevators to the dining room.

I liked Brookdale Glen Ellyn. It was very pleasant, and the apartments. while on the smaller side, were nice. It was a convenient area for me and I like the idea of having medical services right on-site, it's something that's important for me. The dining room was very attractive. I especially like that they didn't have really long corridors from the apartments to the activities. There wasn't as much walking as some of the other places I've been at. The place was attractively decorated. The rooms had nice views and I like the little balconies that are available on each floor. The rooms were nice, light and bright because there were a lot of windows, but I thought they were a little short on storage space. There was a nice range of activities.

Atria Park of Glen Ellyn is beautiful. My mother has gone backwards in age 10 years since she has been there. It's wonderful. She has not been this good for 10 years. The people there are so positive, caring, and loving. It's like a big family. It's a smaller community, which works out perfectly for my mom. This is like a bed and breakfast by the ocean. It's a big, old house with a big wrap-around porch. You feel like you're coming home. The food and activities are great. My mother's apartment is perfect. She is always busy and doesn't even have time to talk to me anymore!
