My brother and sister-in-law lived in the independent house until his recent death. My SIL was offered a room n assisted living where she has been very happy. The staff are always friendly, the nurses attention be and the facility clean. I may consider moving here in the future!

I saw a one-bedroom at Apple Ridge and a studio, the rooms were clean. I just wasn't so impressed with the lady who gave the tour, it wasn't so much with the community. I saw the cafeteria there or the dining area, and the common area, that's about it.

My mom has moved here. We chose this community because it's close to my house. It's clean. Everybody is really friendly and nice. I'm not really sure what they have for activities. They're kinda limited on their visiting right now because of COVID. The amenities were comparable to others.

Park Place Senior Living is okay for independent living, or someone who needs minimal care, but not great for someone who needs daily regular assistance. It seemed too much like a nursing home, we know several people there, and the nursing assistants need training in dealing with people. The food is not satisfactory, too many sandwiches, and not enough real meals. The rooms are okay, the size is okay, there's a kitchenette with a refrigerator which is nice, and an individual patio area. The food could stand an improvement, and so could the nursing aides or assistants need a better training program. The place is very clean, and the office management staff is nice, and there's an outside walking area.

Arbor Glen is a really nice place. The only thing is that it's an independent living place and they didn't have a lot of help or benefits onsite, so they don't have a lot of nurse or doctors. He didn't really need it at the time so we signed up for them. They had a calendar on the wall and it looked like they had things going on every day like card games and bingo. They had things going on all the time including transportation to go to other places in town like to the store. I have only dealt with two staff members and they were very accommodating. It was a really nice looking place.

We were very satisfied with Park Place Senior Living, even though it was a little more expensive than what we're looking for at the time. They had medical people available onsite if they needed them. The staff went through the stuff that they do with the residents. Their rooms were a little small compared to other places we've looked at. They were not as bright as his current apartment, which came across as a more cheerful place to spend your time. But it's just the apartments, not the entire complex. The dining area was a nice place to come and have lunch and eat your meals. They had laundry facilities and other amenities.

We liked Park Place Senior Living a lot and we wanted to take dad in there but his long-term health insurance won't cover it. The place itself was really nice, and we wanted to go into their 1-bedroom apartment, it would have been a great size for him. The staff was very friendly and informative. They have an exercise area and it was nice.

My father is doing pretty good at Apple Ridge. His room is good and they keep him active. The staff members are good. The dining area is clean and the food is good. There is nothing wrong with it. The amenities are good. They offer everything my father needs.

My mother has been very happy at Georgetowne Place. The transition went well, and we're very comfortable with her placement there. It's an older facility, but it's well kept. The staff has been very friendly. She plays cards, Bingo, puzzles, she takes walks every day, and she has a washer and dryer in her own apartment, so she does her own laundry. She said the food is not always as good as what she would like depending on the day. It's convenient to grocery stores and pharmacy. It has some open areas around it, so you don't feel like you're in an industrial area. They have an open restaurant for dining from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
