Independent living residents live in private apartments located in The Terrace at Carmel Health & Living Community, our independent living portion of the campus. Seniors enjoy three delicious meals per day in our restaurant-style dining room, access to the community pub and the convenience of an on-site salon and barber shop.

To help keep residents active in both body and mind, we provide a variety of activities and events throughout the week. These can include Bible studies and religious events, trivia, fitness classes, bingo and a number of other social events.

Available Services

As a part of the standard services we provide, all accommodations receive daily trash collection and weekly housekeeping services. Both interior and exterior maintenance is also performed, which helps alleviate the hassles often associated with home ownership. All utilities are covered in the resident's monthly rent, save for telephone service.

Carmel Health and Living Community provides a wide range of skilled nursing services, ranging from basic rehabilitation services to end-of-life hospice care. Other offerings include pulmonary services, dialysis and kidney disease treatments.
