A fixture in the community since 1988, Garnett Place is known for providing quality retirement living to Cedar Rapids seniors. We offer a range of residential and care options from independent living to assisted living to memory care. Our residents are our top priority, and we are committed to making sure each and every one of our seniors enjoys their stay with us and feel proud to call our community home.
Garnett Place is managed by Senior Housing Management, a professional real estate management firm based in Cedar Rapids. Every individual at a Senior Housing community enjoys the appreciation and value of our signature Red Carpet Treatment.
Featured Amenities
Our unique community boasts a wide selection of accommodation options, including a variety of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment floor plans as well as free-standing town homes. Independent living residents may choose from any of our residential options, while assisted living residents benefit from more convenient apartment-style living.
All apartments feature wall-to-wall carpeting, large windows, a private bathroom and either a full kitchen or kitchenette. Our 1200-square-foot town homes come with two bedrooms and bathrooms, sky lights, a private patio and attached garage. Select town homes also feature private decks and basements.
Available Services
At Garnett Place, we offer a robust selection of services that can be tailored to meet the needs and preferences of each individual resident. From restaurant-style dining to on-site salon services to weekly health checks by a registered nurse, our staff work hard to ensure that each of our residents are happy, healthy and have everything they need to enjoy retirement.
Seniors in need of extra support may take advantage of 24-hour awake staff who are always available to provide assistance with bathing, grooming and other activities of daily living. Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are available on site, and our full-time Registered Nurse is always on call in case of emergency.

Garnett Place seemed cozy. The girl who showed us around was very nice. The apartment configurations would work. It's one we would put on our short list to consider. They had jigsaw puzzles.
