Activities, inside and outside the facility, are planned by an experienced activity director. Worship services are held each Sunday morning in the facility. Transportation is provided by local churches for those who desire to attend the church of their choice. Three wheel bicycles are available for the rsidents exercise or pleasure. A picnic area with tables, benches, and a gazebo is available for the residents. Fern Terrace of Mayfield is special because each resident is special. Spacious rooms allow each resident the freedom to personalize his or her accomodations as they choose. Although special events are scheduled regularly for the enjoyment of everyone, each person can function independently as he or she wishes. Residents may come and go as they please, always under the watchful care of Fern Terrace Staff. Fern Terrace of Mayfield is an excellent choice for those individuals who need personal care and assistance with daily living. In an attractive, comfortable setting, our elderly and incapacitated friends can enjoy the living experience in a very economical way. Well balanced meals, planned social activities and spacious living arrangements all come together to enhance a way of lilfe which can be beneficial to all concerned. Meals are prepared by experienced coks and served in the large airy dining room. A 'Residents Choice Meal', planned by the residents is served weekly and on special holidays.
