Nestled on five luscious acres near Columbia Town Center, Vantage House is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) designed to allow active seniors to fully experience all that retirement living has to offer. Since 1990, we've been offering a full spectrum of senior living options from our 222 independent living apartments to assisted living and skilled nursing care in our Medicare-certified Health Center right on one central campus.

Our deluxe accommodations come in a selection of 15 different floor plans. Choose from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse apartment layouts. All private residences enjoy views from their private balconies, fully equipped kitchens, in-suite climate control, cable and Internet access, and 24-hour security and emergency call monitoring.

We offer three dining venues in which to savor our daily specials and heart-healthy menu options. The Skipjack Café is a casual place to grab a quick bite to eat. Our Chesapeake Dining Room offers a more formal atmosphere with restaurant-style table service, while our Patuxent Private Dining Room is the perfect place to host your special event.

Available Services

As a full-service retirement community, Vantage House offers the reassurance that you will never have to move from your home should your needs change over time. In our on-site Health Center, experienced staff are available to offer assistance with life's day-to-day activities in our assisted living community. For short-term illnesses or injuries, recuperative care can be provided as can more comprehensive nursing care when needed.
