My mom has every activity under the sun at Oak Crest. It's a city unto itself, and they're well cared for there. The staff are lovely folks. We talked to a number of the residents when the staff wasn't around, and they all loved it. The grounds are a golf course, so it's perfect and maintained superbly. My mom chose a 750-square-foot one-bedroom that's handicap-accessible all over the place, pull cords in the bathroom and bedroom, and there's a swivel on the door that security puts up every night. They asked her to open her door before 11:00 am and just let that swivel drop, and if she does not, security comes in to check on her. She has three restaurants to choose from in her building. The place is gorgeous.

My mom is living at Oak Crest. It's a college campus for old people. It literally has everything they need. Everybody has been wonderful and happy. The people are pleasant and are excited to be there. It has been very welcoming. It had seven restaurants right there and was all-inclusive. They don't have to go outside if it's bad weather. It has been beneficial for Mom. Everybody has been incredibly helpful. The food is really good. They also have incredible activities. They're pricey but worth it.
