Quail Run Estates was a very nice place. We thought it was really cool and love the people there. When you come in, the people were the nicest part of it. Like the manager and lady who was reaching out to us and even the people that were in the community were all really nice. So I thought it would be a good place for my brother. I would rate the manager and the person who helped us both a 5 becuase they're really nice and lovely people. They invited us for lunch and the food was awesome and delicious. They even gave us suggestions on what they have and the manager came and ate with us. He was so much fun. We only went to one room, but everything was really nice and clean and the view outside the window was nice.

Quail Run Estates' hospitality was very gracious. It had a variety of levels, like independent, assisted, and higher levels. The people were very considerate and helpful, and the camaraderie was great. I was impressed. The rooms were very accommodating for the elderly, and they had a variety of options from the suite to the single bedrooms. They gave me a very good meal.

Landmark at Monastery Heights' was really nice on the outside. The inside I could tell was old and not really updated. The rooms were very small. The residents didn't seem excited to be there. I wouldn't put my mother there. The staff member who showed me around was a little bit late getting to my appointment, but she did get to me and answered all my questions. She was very pleasant. The chapel was really nice and not just for Catholics.

The appearance of Quail Run Estates was nice. They had lots of pretty flowers. The staff was wonderful. They liked my mother-in-law. Everybody knew her and they made her feel welcome. When she went to rehab, they came up and visited her, and they were really nice. It was nice, but she was packed in there like a sardine. They didn't have much of a social hour. They have bingo and a few exercise classes.

My mother-in-law is in Landmark at Monastery Heights. My first impression was that the staff was very caring and nurturing. We really liked them from the very beginning. It had all the services that we felt she needed. They offer respite care, assist her showering, getting ready in the morning, cleaning her apartment and those kinds of things. I haven't tried the food, but she hasn't complained. There are lots of activities for her to do, including mass with rosary and choir, bingo, arts and crafts, lunch, Wellness Wednesdays where they take blood pressure, word games, current events, and trips to special things like Bright Nights which is a Christmas-themed place that you drive through. They did a Christmas shopping day and a Christmas party. The staff is very helpful. The other day she was a little bit upset because she spilled her coffee right before the exercise and she was crying because she was embarrassed, but the woman who was in charge of the exercise came right over and was very sweet to her. She got her mind right off it and right into the exercise portion of it; she handled it excellently.
