I wasn't excited about the space at Commonwealth Senior Living at Leigh Hall. To me, it was a little different than what I had seen. The rooms were reasonably priced, but you need to work with your furniture. I like the layout of the building. They had this lovely inner courtyard that was very attractive, especially if you are upstairs, so that when you walk out and go to the balcony area, you could look out and don't feel so closed in. They also offered Alzheimer's/dementia care. They have a different adjoining wing, and it had a lovely separation/security area. From what I could gather, they were well taken care of. So if you need one service, you go to one part of the building, and if you need a different type of service, you go to the other part of the building. The staff was a very nice; she was a very detailed young lady. Once she gave me the particulars, she gave me an open window to look around on my own a little bit. They invited me to have lunch in the dining room, and the staff hooked me up with one of the other residents. We had a lovely lunch, and it was a very pleasant visit, too. There was a resident musician; they also had dances and fitness classes. They were very innovative, and they kept the residents busy, too.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Leigh Hall seems fine, it's clean and had nice people. The staff who assisted me during the visit was very helpful and knowledgeable. I saw residents doing an activity in the common area, it was some sort of a meeting. They had a theater room and a place to congregate, but no pools or beauty shop.

Sunrise of Norwood was very nice and looked very established. The person during the tour was excellent and very knowledgeable. Everybody was enjoying their dinner in the dining room. The food looked very interesting, and the dining area looked very nice and very accommodating. The room was a good size and on the first floor. The facility was homey looking.

My tour at Benchmark Senior Living at Forge Hill was excellent and very knowledgeable. I got a full tour about what the building offers. I saw the dining room, the description of the different-sized rooms and what they had available. It had an elevator, a very nice lobby, receptionist, and two different wings, and the dining is at the center with nice windows. The person who assisted me during the tour was so excellent, very helpful, and gave me tips. It was a very nice-looking building that looked like it had a great cafeteria. They had a full calendar of activities and stuff to do. It looked like they take care of people really nicely. It was a newer community.

Brookdale Quincy Bay is friendly and inviting. The staff is great and the residents seemed to be happy. If you were living there, you'd feel comfortable. The apartment I saw was one of the smaller ones and I liked the fact that it was kind of scenic, so the person would be able to catch a glimpse of the bay. As far as the inside of the studio, everything was convenient. The way it was set up, the person residing there would have an opportunity to decide whether they want to make it more of a sleeping area or have a very defined living or sleeping area. They were doing some work on the grounds and the building, and there was a lot of parking.

The initial visit at Brookdale Quincy Bay was nice and I liked the place, but I was a little disappointed because we had scheduled an appointment and nobody called me to follow up, so that kind of left a sour taste in my mouth. I thought it was a clean place and the patients looked happy. It looks good and the room was nice. The staff members I met were pleasant enough.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Leigh Hall was OK, and the staff seemed nice. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was depressing. It just seemed like the people that live there were not happy. The staff members I met during my tour were good and has supposedly been working there for a long time. I saw the atrium, and it seems to be on the small side. It was a studio and it was just a small room with a bed and not a lot of space for a lot of furniture. The dining area looked nice too.

Interim Healthcare in Norwood is a very professional yet compassionate company. All of the staff, from the owners to the caregivers, truly care about their clients as if they were their own family. You can be at ease that your loved ones are being cared for with integrity as well as experience. Interim in Norwood is family-owned; which really sets a family-first tone throughout the company. The family also has a multi-generational background in home care. The level of knowledge, experience, and expertise within this company is second-to-none. The office staff is extremely responsive and friendly. They do everything in their power to make sure your loved one is being provided with the best possible care. The aides are always punctual, polite and presentable. They complete their assigned tasks with skill, and go above and beyond their line of duty. The caregivers always seem to effortlessly make their clients comfortable, relaxed and happy in situations that would normally be anything but. I truly couldn't be happier with this home care provider. I highly recommend going to them for any of your home care needs and frequently recommend them to friends and relatives.
