Attention to comfort and convenience is evident in the overall building plan and the embellished country charm adds to the cozy, residential setting. The state-of-the-art design invites residents and guests to explores its many living rooms and porches and to socialize with friends.

Residential apartments provide privacy and a place for the special touch of your own furnishings. The Unique needs of older adults were considered in the design. Features such as short hallways, enhanced lighting, wider doors, lower window sills and raised electrical outlets promote comfort and safety. Help is always available at the touch of the remote call pendant. Choose from studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Excellence in senior care is the foundation of Volunteers of America National Services. The Homestead at Maplewood is an extension of its mission to reach and uplift all people and provide quality healthcare and related services. This national non-profit human service organization provides compassionate, professional service to people in need across the nation. Priority access to other Volunteers of America health-related facilities is available to residents of The Homestead at Maplewood.

The majority of our staff at The Homestead at Maplewood have been providing care and service for over 12+ years. You'll find that many of our team members have great longevity here at The Homestead at Maplewood which allows for our residents and staff to grow a special bond and friendship. The Homestead at Maplewood has been designed for our residents to age in place. We are able to accommodate high levels of care which, most of the time, allows for our residents to age in place with us through end of life. We offer a very comfortable, welcoming and cozy-like environment that is small enough to know everyone’s name, yet large enough to be able to hold numerous activities and events to keep our residents active and having fun! We are confident that you will find that we are a very family oriented community that truly cares for one another.
