I was very impressed with Heritage Springs. It was a very nice place. There were about 20 activities they offered every day. The food was the best because they had an excellent chef. The price was pretty good, and it's on a monthly basis. You didn’t have to sign a contract, so if you want to try living there for one or two months, you can without any hassle. Every other place that I went to had a non-refundable community fee.

Heritage Springs was a very pleasant community. The staff was very welcoming and everything was clean. If felt like home. Everything was well laid out. It felt like a place where you could stay and feel comfortable. The apartments were nice and small, but very well laid out. They seemed very pleasant and comfortable.

I was over at Heritage Springs three or four times. I didn't really meet anybody like the CNAs or the nurses, but I did talk to the business manager. They were all very nice. I didn't spend a lot of time over there, but it looked very nice and clean.

My sister moved into Heritage Springs in December. It's very nice and the staff is really great. However, if I take her out and bring her back after 6:30, it's not easy. She uses her call button, but it takes the staff five minutes or so to get downstairs, leaving her standing in the lobby. I'd wait for her until they came down so they could take her wheelchair and her walker. The food is very bland, there's not a lot of variety and she has complained about it. They have three or four activities a day and there are special activities for the holidays. They have Bingo, poker, exercising, current events, cooking classes, and they take them to Wal-Mart and the 99 cents store once a week. You can arrange for them to use the facility's bus. For instance, once a month she plays Bunco with me and my friends and it's at different homes. The bus from Heritage Springs will bring her out and deliver her to the house where it's at.

I love the ambience and setup at Heritage Springs. Everything was great. The staff seemed very nice and very involved with the patients. The manager was great, too. The rooms were adorable but expensive. The room was big and for two patients. It was bare, but I thought it would work.

The Heritage Springs was very good. The studio I saw was nice and adequate, but the memory care unit was very crowded. It would be good to have an activity area there also. They serve 3 meals a day and snacks. The staff was very informative and answered all the questions that I had.

My mom is staying in Heritage Springs. The place is aged. It is not horrible, but it is older than the other place. The care is good, but the food is bad. All the people are very nice, but they have very bad food. Honestly, I think the food needs to improve. If they would improve the food, it would be worth the money we're paying. They only offer one special at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My mom's room is nice. We bought my mom all brand-new furniture when she moved there, but she has had some issues with her plumbing and the sink keeps leaking. They do quite a bit of activities to keep them active. The activities are actually good because last Wednesday when I went, they had a party, there was a person singing, and they had food. They do that quite often. My mom actually stays active there. In the morning they do current events, then they do some sit-down chair exercises, and they play Bingo, which she goes to everyday. She goes to church on Sunday now. She never did before, but now she goes. The staff members are all very nice people. They have been good to my mom and they're really nice to us. They take good care of the people there.
