Nursing Homes Community in Freehold, New Jersey

Allaire Rehab & Nursing is an OK facility. It's clean. There are 30 rooms on one floor. The PT staff is really good. Some of other staff are very good and some are not. There's some activities, like bingo and stuff, but they worry more about getting on PT and getting people into the next level of the place. They try to make different food, but it's boxed mashed potatoes and that kind of stuff. They have a garden area, then a very, very small library.

I liked Applewood, and I feel I'm going to live there. When you first walk in, the lobby is bright, cheerful, and colorful. It looks like a happy place. It's smaller, so you probably would get to know most of the people there, and they had nice apartments. They had an Olympic-sized pool, a trainer who would map up a plan for me, mass on weekends, and various clubs and trips. I saw several people walking together, who seemed happy.

Wedgwood Gardens is a very nice place. The people are very responsive and I really have no complaints at all. The food is OK, and my brother said he likes it. They have a whole set of activities and it's one of the things he likes there.
