- Special Comment: We Create the Environment Our Residents Need: Connection to place is one of our foundational principles. That is why we always create the environment our residents need to not just live in, but to thrive in. A safe and clean environment allows us to deliver specialized care to each resident. When loved ones experience the challenges that accompany dementia, for example, our secure environment can provide them with the safety they need along with the opportunity to live as independently as possible. We know there is no place like home, but we believe that our newly renovated Memory Care Community offers an experience that will meet and exceed your expectations. Genuine Connections: The Heart of Our Community: We believe that all of our team members play a key role in grounding our communities in compassion and service to others. Each and every member of our team, not just our caregivers, is dedicated to learning who our residents really are. When staff members know our residents’ likes, dislikes, and history, they can form real relationships with the people who live in our communities. When everyone is connected, it means that each day – no matter how hard – is never experienced alone. Engagement, Laughter & True Joy: Health is important, but quality of life is more than that alone. Social engagement is an integral part of our care plans, which is why we have developed meaningful activities for residents to enjoy with each other. Best of all, these activities are individualized to match the needs and abilities of every resident. Plenty of laughter and oftentimes singing can be heard in our halls; a day at Bella Terra is filled with activities like music groups, physical activity, puzzles, reminiscence therapy, and much more.

My mother moved into Bella Terra. So far so good. My mom seems to like it and she said the food is pretty good and the facilities are nice. Her apartment is very nice, it's bright, clean, the appliances were pretty new and the refrigerator is actually brand new. Everything was fine. They had activities like a Jazz Night, bingo, trips into town, and physical activities in the swimming pool. They also have a library and a gym there.

My mother is in Bella Terra. It's very nice and the staff is wonderful. She has felt very right at home. She's very picky, but she said the food is very good. The cleaning staff is wonderful and the people are friendly. The place is very clean. I'm very happy with her being there. She has a friend coming there because she told her about it. She went to visit and she likes it so much. They were very good with us too, working with the rates for the rooms and everything. They have bingo, movie nights, they take you shopping, they do luncheon trips, they go to Atlantic City once a month, they have an indoor swimming pool, they do chair aerobics, and they have physical therapy on-site. She has a beautiful big apartment, much bigger than other places that we looked at. You call maintenance and they come right out. They're very good. The salesperson, the people in the restaurant, the concierge at the front desk, everyone is great. Their value is excellent. It's a great community, very caring, and very kind. There's not a lot of people there and it's very homey. She could scoot down the hall in her wheelchair.

Bella Terra was very nice. I liked that the independent and assisted living were connected by a corridor, so you could go from one place to another without having to go in and out of the building. I liked that they have a lot of amenities like a heated pool, and they were having a concert while I was there. They had a kitchen set up for a cooking class, and they have art. There were lots of people walking around and they all seemed pretty happy. The dining area was nice. The lady who gave us the tour was very nice and informative, and the staff was always very friendly. I had a very good experience all the way around. The place also seemed very clean to me.

Bella Terra was pleasant. The chef came out and gave me some biscotti that he made. They took me around and it was a pleasant visit. There wasn't anything negative that I saw. The rooms are big enough and they have rooms that accommodate two people. The person who showed me around was pretty knowledgeable, told me everything I wanted to hear, was sociable, and introduced me to a lot of people there.

The woman I am in touch with at Bella Terra Morton Grove has been very helpful. I called and emailed her several times and she's been very responsive. It looked great and clean, and the facilities were exactly what we were looking for. They have the rooms named for different trees, and the room that my father was looking at was the Noble Fir, which is basically a 1-bedroom apartment with a den. They also showed us their studio and 2-bedrooms. They also have a community center, a gym, a dining hall, and a café on-site. They have a post office which reminds me of a college post office, and a barbershop/salon. The woman prepared a list of dialysis centers that were close to the facility since my dad is a dialysis patient, so that was something nice that she got done ahead of time. She also had information prepared for veteran benefits.

I had a very nice experience when I visited Bella Terra. The rooms were clean but not very updated. We ate at a little café, and the food was really good. I saw a library, pool, and social gathering areas. It was the nicest I've seen.
