My dad has been at The New Homestead Home for a little bit now. The facility layout is perfect. There are two elevators for the patients to go up and down. Everything is convenient and they don't have to go through any obstacles to get where they need to go. The staff is very nice and helpful. My dad has a nice room with a refrigerator, dresser, and private bathroom. They keep the place clean and they have plenty for them to do. They have a TV room, game room, music room, card room, and the dining room is very big. They go on trips and family is welcome. They have a monthly calendar for their activities. Everybody has designated seats so if they don't come down, they know they have to go looking for them to find out why they didn't come down. They're pretty much on point and they work with you in regard to everything. They make sure that then residents are well. I have no complaints. The meals are very tasty. The pricing is not bad and I have no problems with it.

The New Homestead Home is a great, older place that's a little run-down, but the staff is really caring and attentive. Whenever I go to visit, everybody knows my mom, and they know her likes and dislikes. It's a really great place for her. They have bingo, concerts, movies, and piano entertainment. The dining area is a separate area and set up like a restaurant. They offer meals and have alternatives in case you don't want the main meal.

Atria Kew Gardens was absolutely marvelous. Unfortunately, my mother could not afford that. They offered everything. It was the ultimate place for any family member. Everything was very good. Cleanliness and maintenance were excellent. It was just remodeled, so everything was in top-notch condition. I only saw the menu and it was fine.

Atria Kew Gardens has a limited area, not only in square footage, but also in stimuli and visual elements on the memory care floor. The staff was energetic and knowledgeable and the person who showed me around was quite informative. There was a porch and a common area.
