Atria Tanglewood was nice, but it was too big, too overwhelming, too much walking if that was an issue to the main area. This was during covid, but I think they want to assist as best they can, and they're accommodating. It's close to my home.

My friend moved into Sunrise of North Lynbrook. I find the place unsatisfactory. I find the staff not only rude, but annoying, and they just called the other day with a new assessment of $2,500. Overall, I'm not happy with them. She has a very nice room and it's a very nice facility. However, I think they're understaffed. I don't think she's getting the care or attention that I'm paying for, and I brought this up numerous times with their management; they just "yes" me. The place overall was clean and well-kept. The nurses were wonderful, but I had issues with the administrative staff. The maintenance guy is excellent, but I specifically do not care for the woman I first met there. Maria almost killed the deal because she was nasty.

Sunrise of North Lynbrook was very nice, it was similar to the other place, but they were doing some renovations when I was there, and I did not see them completed. The rooms and the staff were very nice.

Sunrise of North Lynbrook was nice. The amenities and services were excellent, but the price was excessive. There were people sitting around the upper floors, so it felt a little more clinical than homey, but the main floor didn't feel that way. The staff member was excellent, very knowledgeable, and they came across very well. They have services for a whole range of health issues.

My mother was at Atria Lynbrook. It's excellent. They had arts and crafts, puzzles, and card games. They served three meals a day and had other items available 24/7. The staff was quite polite, well trained, and very professional. They helped her with physical therapy and eating because she couldn't use her hands, gave her meds, and helped with her shower. The food was very good.

My mom moved into the Bristal Assisted Living, and they provided her with a room that was better priced. She's pleased with the food, the services, and the activities. Overall, it's been a very good experience. The staff has been very attentive. She's been doing a few crafts, going on a few bus trips, and they have entertainment come in. I can take her to her doctors' appointment, or they have a service that I can pay for.

My sister went into Sunrise of North Lynbrook 10 days ago. We gave them a deposit in June, but my sister didn't go until July 5th. However, we got a bill that we have to pay for the whole month of June. We can't afford all of this. It's too expensive. I honestly don't think it's assisted living. To me, it's like a nursing home and that's deceiving. The room is very nice. They have a library, a TV room, and a game room. Everything is beautiful. I don't have complaints about that, but we were not told the whole truth. I don't think I would have gone there because it's too expensive.
